… read more from all over the world, and I must say it's always a crescendo of good energy and synergy, as in this case with Samuele. So receiving Samuele with his minivan in the last days of April was the most beautiful gift I could find under my olive trees! Samuele and I first met a few years ago at a reggae music festival in Slovenia, and finding each other here on workaway was almost magical, truly a sign of destiny! Samuele wrote to me calmly and then he came to my house in his little camper van. From day one we immediately went on a tour of my land and he gave me a lot of advice, so I highly recommend this young guy from Gorizia (Friuli Venezia Giulia) because he is an expert gardener, very good at pruning trees, good at all kinds of manual skills and especially in gardening, he is very experienced despite being quite young, and he can give a lot of great advice, so I highly recommend Samuele as a workawayer! From the first day we set to work, so we started pruning some olive branches, because he is a professional gardener and in fact that is why I am so happy he came. So we pruned the olive trees together and then moved the branches. This way, the olive trees gradually acquire the most suitable shape for the olive harvest. Then the next day we continued working, pruning the olive trees: Samuele got up early and started pruning immediately, early in the morning, and meanwhile I moved the branches that were falling. Then we continued pruning other trees, and what I appreciate most is that he not only brought his scissors and work clothes, but he is also very good and above all experienced, so he gave me a lot of useful advice for the future and I hope he will come back. So I recommend Samuele for anyone looking for an experienced gardener and workawayer with years of experience in pruning, olive picking and gardening. Samuele is very good and I am glad he came to visit me to do workaway in Gavorrano! The workaway experience with Samuele was simply perfect, which is why I highly recommend this Italian man if you are looking for a resourceful, smart and respectful person. Samuele wrote to me with sincerity that he was in a situation where he would gladly come and visit me and help me out for a few days, and that he would come by caravan, do a short experience and then come back at a later date. I really appreciated his sincerity and so we organised a last-minute workaway, and a few days later he came to my farm. As already mentioned, the stay was short, just a week (which is the minimum duration, usually), yet Samuele showed me great intelligence and resourcefulness. Above all, he helped me arrange the olive branches that are on the ground after pruning, and it is a very long job that he did with zeal and passion, together with me. Above all, I appreciated his maturity, because from day one he was able to work in the garden with a certain amount of autonomy, arranging the branches and cutting the big ones to make the ground around the house tidier. Besides that, it was very pleasant to talk to Samuele, and we shared some very interesting moments of conversation, especially since we are similar, we are two people with a lot in common, although he is a bit younger, but he is very intelligent and experienced, and a great talker, like me, so it was a really nice meeting. Finally, I highly recommend this italian man to anyone who is looking for an enterprising and willing workawayer who can learn fast, listen, and connect deeply with a farm that just needs a bit of work to become a true natural paradise! Thank you again dear Samuele for all your work, I hope you will be able to come back and give me a hand here at the farm and thus be able to see the evolution of this little fairytale corner, and how this farm is growing also thanks to your help and the seeds that you have planted. I recommend Samuele as a workawayer with a high rating, especially for his maturity in being able to tune in respectfully and also lovingly to this farm surrounded by nature and in front of the sea, and for being able to work with dedication for the growth of this happy place.
