Descrição

We are Ilona and Louisa, two german girls, which met while working together as volunteers at the Goethe-Institut in Prague, Czech Republic.
Connected by our similar approaches on life, the art of living and the alike, we have decided to continue this journey together to gain a deeper understanding and insight of the things that inspire us and to share this valuable experience.
Talking about things that inspire us, we both value nature a lot for its ability to allow our minds to wander around freely. It also offers a lot of inspiration to the creative mind, seeking art and seeing it in the everyday details of the world around. With Ilona being a passionate photography enthusiast, she enjoys to capture the moment she lives in to appreciate and reflect on its unique beauty.
Additionally, Louisa is very fond of any form of both consuming and creating art, such as literature, music, paintings and so on.
Beyond from this, we draw a lot of our inspiration from communication as we are very open to get to know knew perspectives and ways of living and possess a deep appreciation for both the privilege and the process of learning and the potential of persona growth through human interaction.
Regarding our motivation to join a volunteering activity, we are driven by the aim to connect with people, creating new bonds with them. We further have the ambition to practice our language skills and make a positive and sustainable impact by working on projects, which help to create spaces and futures full of peace and harmony.

We are looking forward to finding a place to offer us inspiration and new perspectives and which allows us to create a balance between giving and receiving while connecting to people.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We are two motivated and open-minded women with experience in a variety of work environments. We have worked in cafés and restaurants, where we gained strong skills in customer service, teamwork, time management, and working efficiently in fast-paced settings. We are used to interacting with people from different backgrounds and always try to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

Additionally, we have worked at the Goethe-Institut, where we were involved in organizational and cultural projects. This experience helped us develop a professional attitude, reliability, and good communication skills, as well as an appreciation for intercultural exchange.

Through various projects at our schools, we have learned to work independently and responsibly, while also collaborating effectively in teams. We are organized, quick learners, and not afraid to take initiative or help wherever needed. We are happy to support with daily tasks, hospitality work, organization, creative projects, or general assistance.

We are enthusiastic about learning new skills, sharing experiences, and contributing positively to our host’s projects while travelling.
