I’m a gap year student exited to travel and meet new people along with exploring different cultures. I’m motivated to learn as much as I can about animal husbandry in order to pursue a veterinary career.
I enjoy being outdoors, sport, family, photography and baking.
I am also reliable, hard working and outgoing, ready to meet new challenges and make new friends. -

Quais são suas habilidades?
I have spent two weeks on a farm caring for horses, cows, sheep, and goats. My responsibilities included grooming, feeding, and mucking out, and I also had the opportunity to spend a day observing an equine therapist.
My first pet was an African pygmy hedgehog, through which I learned how to provide appropriate care and maintain a suitable habitat. In addition, over the past six months I have volunteered weekly at my local dog groomers.
I am a fast learner who approaches new situations with enthusiasm, strong attention to detail, and a high level of awareness. -

Working with horses all the time and getting to see New Zealand lifestyle was lovely. They have created such a beautiful space, taught me lots about the care of animals and were patient with me when I first arrived.
I would recommend staying here if you ever get the chance.
Hannah was dependable, completed the tasks we asked and was willing to help where needed. She settled into the routine well and communicated clearly throughout her stay.
All the best for your future travels!
They included me in horse rides along the vineyards and down by the river which i thoroughly enjoyed.
They are both very kind people and
I would recommend their place to others as it was one of my favourite times during travelling!
