I enjoy being in the great outdoors, walking, watching wildlife and being surrounded by nature. I also enjoy seeing live music and am always open to try new activities and adventures.
Descrição
I have previously travelled (what now feels like many years ago) in Australia and more recently in and around Europe, doing different workaways, enjoying new experiences and meeting new people.
Now at home in Guernsey I enjoy being amongst nature in my spare time, walking, swimming and watching the stunning sunrise/sunsets of Guernsey. I cherish any opportunity to care for and enjoy the company of animals.
Although Guernsey is beautiful little island, I have the urge to travel again to soak up new culture and experiences. I am interested in learning more about self sustainable living, planting, growing food and maintenance. I would love to one day own my own little patch of land enjoying the simple things in life away from the hustle and bustle.

In Australia I worked on all sorts of different farms, fruit picking and other random odd jobs.
I have more recently had the pleasure of visiting countries in and around Europe doing lots of workaways helping with animals from cats, dogs, goats, pigs, and sheep to llamas, camels and more.
I have also had experience through my travels of gardening, growing and helping on self sustainable properties.
I am currently living in Guernsey as a teaching assistant at an additional needs school, as well as doing some hours in cleaning and hospitality.

We hosted Georgia for more than a month and it was a very positive experience for us. Georgia is a fun, bubbly person, a great communicator and she worked hard and was very willing to learn and try her hand at new things. I thoroughly recommend her to other hosts.

I could see how her confidense in doing the job grew overtime.

I was only able to stay for a few days but had a great time, the whole family is lovely. It was interesting to learn about the animals and different ways to live more sustainably. Everyday brought a new little adventure, a shame I couldn't stay longer!

Had a great experience for the short time I stayed with Lila and Jaya Sri who cooked some amazing meals and even taught me how to cook some of her own veggie recipes. Was a lovely work environment and made me feel at home. The view from the farm is beautiful and a lovely place to go for walk's. Thank you for having me!
