What a lovely time I had at Ross and Melodie's place! Their home is so cozy and is beautifully situated in the countryside with gorgeous mountain views just a short walk away. Their pup, Shelby, is a sweetie and was a pleasure to go running with. I really enjoyed working in the garden all together - the company was lovely to have. (As well as the

Annie is a lovely girl but sadly, was only able to spend a few days with us. However in that short time she quickly fitted into our family life and routines and was a pleasure to have in our home. Annie arrived in the afternoon and set to work immediately helping us to prune back bushes, raspberry canes and helping with the general garden tidy
… read more up - amazing how much got done in a short while! She was keen and willing to help around the house when the weather was inclement and also to lend a hand with the cooking - and Shelby our dog loved all the attention and extra walks.

Ilja and Nora were our first experience of having Workawayers to stay .......and what a high bench mark they have set! They were a pleasure to have and I can recommend them highly for not only their strong work ethic, but discrete presence in our home. They like to get up early (by our standards!) and be ready to start work at 8am. They like to
… read more know the jobs to be done as they are a capable and diligent team and can be trusted to do a good job and clear up afterwards. Over a 2 week period, apart from the major project of building 2 raised beds with block work and gravel for the newly sited vegetable garden, they completed to a high standard a wide variety of other smaller jobs both indoors and out. We were delighted with their joinery skills to improve the locks and handles on our old doors! We would not hesitate to welcome Ilja and Nora back again.

The two weeks we had with Melodie, Ross and their lovely dog Shelby were just marvellous :) Working together with them on preparing raised beds and clearing up their garden was a real joy. They are warm and very caring hosts and we talked and laughed a lot. They are very open minded and appreciated our work a lot. They always cooked great meals
