We are staying in New Zealand till December and are trying to make it across both islands!!
We are especially interested in nature and culture, and are ready for all NZ has to offer!

We met at boarding school where we bonded over good music, sailing and M&M´s!
Since then, we have both finished school and worked many odd jobs. Most recently, we have spent some time reconnecting with the sea, Victor working as a commercial diver, and Emma educating herself as an Ordinary Seaman on the training ship "Denmark".

While the country Denmark is flat as a pancake, we have heard New Zealand has some mountains (including Mount Doom, which Victor is looking very much forward to see), and we are excited to check it out and immerse ourselves in the vast nature New Zealand has to offer.

We have now filled our backpacks with an ungodly amount of M&M´s, high spirits and whatever else you need for a trip across New Zealand. We hope to meet some cool people, help out where it's needed, and get a genuine feel for the Island and its people.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Emma has for the past half year trained to become a sailor, including three unforgettable months at sea aboard a full-rigged ship from 1933. During that time, I gained hands-on experience with rope work and the ongoing maintenance of the old vessel, whatever she needs. Here, I found out how just far a good attitude and some serious elbow grease can get you!
Before that, I have worked in a restaurant kitchen (3years), Childcare & Education (1 year), Social care (1,5 years).

Hello i am Victor
I am 21 years old and for the last 2 years I have been working as a commercial diver. I went straight from school to a diving school so I didn't have a lot of construction experience beforehand but I am steadily getting more and more practical experience. Almost every job I have been on is different but a skill I have learned from that is to adapt to all kinds of situations. I am also used to working physically tough and long days. When not in a diving project I also help with general maintenance around the ships and buildings of the company I am working for.
