My guesthouse is a wonderful old wood house, located in the famous Barrio Las Peñas in Guayaquil, a bohemian neighborhood, with great bars surrounding the place at the most touristic part of this tropical city. The leitmotiv of the house is art, so probably an exposition or a play could be part of was going on here.

I run this project alone, so I need help like receiving tourists, cleaning the house, change sheets, buying fresh fruit at the market, taking care and improve the social networks and web sites of the place. If we are having a play, I will appreciate giving me a hand moving furniture, serving drinks, etc.

Arnaldo was very kind to accept my rather last minute request to work here. I had a very comfortable stay throughout the week.
The work was mostly housekeeping, nothing too difficult.
When Arnaldo was free, he would take me and the other volunteers out, which was really nice of him. He’s a generous and funny Jefe!

Excelente mi primer experiencia Workaway. Pasé dos semanas aquí, el hostel está en la mejor zona de Guayaquil y en la casa se respira un ambiente fresco y tranquilo. Well, I really don't know what else to say that hasn't been said before. Arnaldo and Romi are great, the job is easy, the place is beautiful and the location is the best possible. I stayed for 20 day and in my last 5 days there was also a theater play on the place so I got to help on this too.

I am my friend Alejandro were volunteering here for 2 weeks. The gest house is very beautiful, so it was good to stay a while in this place. The job I did was housekeeping , making breakfast and cleaning. Then we still have a lot of time to enjoy the city. The employees here are friendly. I had a good time here.

We had a great time during our first Workaway. Arnaldo is an excellent host and a great guy. His house is probably the coolest place in Guayaquil, in the best district. The work involved pretty much all aspects of running a B&B, so it was a great learning experience for us, and we were sorry to leave.
