Hi, we're Anaïs and Axel and we're looking for a workaway from next october!
We're currently on a gap year as part of our engineering studies. We're sociable people who enjoy talking to each other. We'd love to go on a workaway to experience a unique cultural exchange, meet new people, improve our English and at the same time our skills in DIY, gardening and any other area in which you'd like to welcome us. We know how to adapt quickly and we love discovering and learning new things.
We love nature and animals. Originally from Brittany, we're used to open spaces, sea air and the countryside. We both have dogs and love having them around. Dynamic and curious, we love discovering fabulous new places, hiking and running in the great outdoors.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We are both French students in the 4th year of a general engineering school. Our academic background allows us to be versatile individuals. We find it easy to work both in teams and independently, and we also possess great adaptability that enables us to solve any kind of problem.

Both of us have skills in various domains such as painting, gardening, and performing diverse tasks. Anaïs has notably worked for a company specializing in maintaining housing for the elderly or people with reduced mobility. She took care of cleaning, laundry, and running errands for these individuals. She has also regularly babysat children, demonstrating responsibility and organization. We both love cooking and preparing tasty dishes.

As for Axel, he has skills in gardening, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming, wood cutting, and more. Having lived in the countryside since a young age, he has gained experience in performing these tasks. Axel is also a handyman capable of handling various small domestic repairs. Having worked in logistics during a seasonal job, Axel is also organized and meticulous.

We are both nature and animal lovers, and therefore, we are capable of taking care of animals. Each of us owns a dog, in particular.

Sport is a common interest for both of us. We enjoy running and swimming, whether in the pool or the sea. Axel also plays football at the highest regional level, while Anaïs is passionate about cycling. Sport is very important to us because, in addition to its physical benefits, it has a universal impact.

We are driven by the desire to help others. With this in mind, we have both engaged in volunteer work. Anaïs has worked for a food bank, distributing provisions to people in need. Axel, on the other hand, has dedicated his time to his football club, imparting his love for the sport to younger players.

We hope that through this experience, we can develop our skills and utilize them in the service of others. Moreover, we have a keen interest in discovering other cultures and learning about their composition. We love to travel and were lucky to spend a month last summer in the United Kingdom, specifically in Broadstairs and London.

We are also attentive and easy-going individuals. We hope that our profile has caught your attention.
