I spend around two weeks with Alex, Florian and Simon in July (sorry for the late feedback!!) and every day was different and interesting. Alex is very flexible and fun person, and he tries his best that you feel like home all the time. I helped mostly with gardening and other things in the yard, but also a little bit with the chocolate
… read more manufacturing and housekeeping. In my free time I had the chance to discover Foix and the nearby areas, and even go for a day hike in Pyrenees. We did also many fun things together, like going to a lake, for a walk, to their friend’s place, to cinema... Everyone was so nice, I was very welcomed, and I enjoyed my time very much! Thanks for everything, I had a great experience with you and learned a lot of new things! :)
J'ai passé environ deux semaines avec Alex, Florian et Simon en juillet (désolé pour le feedback tardif !!) et chaque jour était différent et intéressant. Alex est très flexible et amusant, et il fait de son mieux pour que tu te sens chez toi tout le temps. J'ai surtout aidé avec le jardinage et d'autres choses dans la cour, mais aussi un peu avec la fabrication du chocolat et le ménage. Durant mon temps libre, j'ai eu la chance de découvrir Foix et les environs, et même de partir en randonnée dans les Pyrénées. Nous avons aussi fait beaucoup de choses amusantes ensemble, comme aller au lac, faire une promenade, visiter des amis, aller au cinéma ... Tout le monde était très gentil, j'étais très bienvenue et j'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour! Had a great time in Foix, it was a lovely home environment and all around experience. They treat me like a member of the family, introduced me to lots of friends in the community, held BBQs and visited other peoples, went mountain walking, lake swimming and visited local bee-keepers, tasted honey, and they showed me their chocolate manufacturing

I learnt lot of new skills working with Alex on building a new bedroom onto the house in the barn and we helped out for a few days at two local eco-build straw bale properties, as well as this I learnt loads of French (and a bit of German) too! - I really hope we can keep in touch and it would be lovely to visit again in future!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

As it was my first experience as a workawaywer I was a little bit nervous, but Alex , Simon and Diego made me feel like at home. I stayed two wonderful weeks there, but it could have been more! Being our first work away experience we were a little nervous going in to it. I was standing hip deep in the mud when they arrived at our place and they didn't wait a minute to join the work. Christina and Tyro are friendly, easygoing, interested and very helpful people. Alex, Ulli, Flurian and Simon welcomed us into their family and included us in lovely meals and day trips with their friends. We spent almost 3 weeks here (1 with the family and almost 2 house sitting). The work was varied and included assisting with the chocolate, working in the garden, sanding radiators, helping with the goats and the kitten etc

Ulli, Alex and the kids are very welcoming, you are treated like one of the family. We regularly spent time with them going to the Lake as well as socialising with expat friends of theirs.

Morgan and Casey are a lovely, easygoing couple.
They very easily integrated in our family life and we enjoyed very much having them around.
Thanks to Morgan, who was a great help for Alex and full of knowledge with all manual tasks, our roof is redone and our third bedroom and the office got finally some shape; and for sure we got the best wooden

Casey was a great help with chocolate making and packaging, she is very efficient and independant. And she is not afraid of getting her hands dirty either and thanks to her the pile of dirt and wood behind the house got much smaller.
An we enjoyed also spending the evenings with them, chatting with a glass of wine or two after a good day of work.
