Hey! I'm Amelie, 18 years old, from a small town in Bavaria, Germany. Last year I finished my A-Level exams and before I start studying I want to solo travel. I can call myself lucky to have already seen various countries when traveling with my family but now it's time to go my own way.

I really enjoy outside activities, such as going for walks, biking, hiking and playing tennis. Lately I've really gotten into bouldering - it helps me challenge myself and build confidence because it's often quite scary to start but gets progressively better the longer you push yourself. Apart from that I absolutely love reading, up-to-date literature as well as classics or listening to my favourite music.
Spending time with my friends doing trips or simply having a nice and chill evening together is something I love and I’m always down for a long night of talking.

As most people, I wish to be in an environment where everyone can feel comfortable, which is why being honest about feelings and desires is very important to me. I consider myself to be a spontaneous, open-minded and thoughtful person, who wants to develop new skills and do things I've never done before. As a Workawayer I wish to learn more about myself and others and get to know new people with different lifestyles.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I enjoy all things nature-related, so I am open to working outside or working with animals, although I am not too experienced and would be needing some tips but am always willing to learn! In general I won’t hesitate to try something new and I’m eager to develop some new skills.

So far I’ve had a bit of experience with painting and for a school project I’ve built a shelf to enable book swapping at our school.

Also I have been tutoring students in math since 2021 and participated in an elective subject in middle and high school, where we taught younger children how to use social media safely.
