Hello there!
We are Ana and Alice, friends from Spain travelling together.
I (Alice) am a chemist specializing in sustainability. I quit my job two years ago to start travelling and volunteering. Now, I have a different lifestyle—I work seasonally during the winter as an outdoor guide in Lapland (Finland) and spend the summer exploring new opportunities.
Ana is a medical digital analyst. She teaches artificial intelligence to recognise cancer in medical images. She was unexpectedly laid off last November, so she decided to start travelling and looking for new opportunities while searching for a job in her field.
We are both adventurers who love nature, rural life, and embracing the unknown. We are friendly and open-minded, always eager to socialise and meet new people and cultures. We appreciate the peace and quiet of small places. We love getting lost in nature and discovering new landscapes. Watching the sunset is probably one of our favourite things in the world. We don’t like crowded and touristic places, we would rather enjoy diving into local culture and traditions.
We are also animal lovers! Ana grew up in the countryside surrounded by dogs, cats, goats, sheep and chickens. Alice has been around farm animals since a very young age because she attended summer camps for several years.
Alice has done Workaway several times across Europe and in Nepal, taking on diverse tasks such as construction and repair work, animal care, harvesting, housekeeping, childcare, English lessons, and working in a local shop. For Ana, this will be her first Workaway experience, and she couldn't be more excited about it!
We are both highly adaptable and versatile, ready to take on almost any task. Even if we don’t have prior experience with something. We are always eager to learn! :)

We love learning new languages and sharing what we know! Ana lived in Italy so she speaks English, Italian and Spanish Alice speaks English, Spanish, Catalan and she is currently learning French

Quais são suas habilidades?
We both have experience working on farms and in agriculture. Alice has worked on farms around the world, helping with both animals and crops, and she enjoys learning different farming techniques in each place. Ana grew up in the countryside, so being close to nature, animals, and rural life has always been part of her everyday life. We're hard-working and comfortable with physical tasks, whether it’s feeding animals, gardening, or harvesting.
In addition, we have a background in tourism, so we’re outgoing, used to working with people, and know how to make guests feel welcome. We've lived in different countries and love cultural exchange—meeting new people, sharing experiences, and learning about new ways of life is something we truly value.
