My name is Ahmet, I’m a 24-year-old traveler from Turkey with a deep passion for exploring new cultures, connecting with people, and contributing to meaningful projects around the world.

Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to different parts of the globe, and what I’ve learned is that the most enriching moments come not just from seeing places, but from living them—working alongside locals, exchanging stories, and becoming a part of the community. I consider myself a curious, open-minded, and responsible person who enjoys adapting to different environments. Whether I’m helping on a farm, teaching, assisting with creative or supporting eco or social initiatives, I always give my full energy and enthusiasm. I’m eager to learn new skills, and I’m not afraid of hard work if it means growing personally and contributing meaningfully.

What I truly value about Workaway is the human connection—meeting hosts and fellow volunteers from around the world, sharing meals and conversations, and learning from each other’s cultures and perspectives.

In daily life, I’m easygoing and independent. I enjoy hiking, cooking, photography, and just being in nature. I also have an interest in languages, sustainability, and cultural exchange.

I am very easy going person. I like living in different environments to get out of my comfort zone. I like animals and camping. I like doing exercise. I played football for a while. I am interested in ecology, organic food, urban life. Also I like discovering the folk musics.

I live in a very big and touristic place, 15 million tourists visits every year, it is a cosmopolitan place with people from many different cultures so I am open to all languages, cultures and traditions, and it would make me very happy to see your traditions and lifestyle.
