Rona joined us for nearly two weeks and in this time she helped us with the olives harvest (in which she clearly had already experience!), planting veggies in our wicking beds, planting in our syntropic lines, cobbing the walls of our toolshed and sorting enormous amount of olive branches to be shredded. doesn't matter the task she has: she will do it meticulously, independently and in an efficient way! We are so happy for all her help, and for the cultural exchange we had too: we really recommend you to let her cook 'cause she is very good in it! Thank you Rona! We wish you an amazing experience in New Zealand! ❤️

The only advice I can give you: Do it! Go to Spain and visit this beautiful community. I just finished my stay and the other reviews weren't lying: I am absolutely mesmerised and wanting to go back there very soon. If you are looking for positivity, growth, community and good food I 100% recommend for you to go there because there are no words to describe this one of a kind, magical and healing place. I am so so grateful and feel so fortunate to have had the chance to experience it and meet the extraordinary and loving people there. Thank you Raul and everybody else there💓💫

Nic … incredible person , he was our father in the farm , sweet heart man who loved us like sons and daughters, we was like a family in the farm . There is balance between work , seriousness and having fun and spending great time , the place of the farm is in the woods and mountains which stolen my heart … 10/10 ❤️

Louisa and Ytai are a super sweet couple raising a family, plus trying to live of the land. They made me feel very welcome in their home and made some good memories. They're doing a lot of cool things - tanning hides, raising cattle, planting a food Forrest and much more. It's a great place to learn!! much love to these guys

Andera was visit me for tree weeks. I tis time she was take care of my hous, help me with things around my apartment. And she was shoot verry nice picture of my place, wher i want publik soon on my profile. Andrea was a verry nice and polite geast. Sie was always verry intrestet on nature, landscape arkitekture, and cultural things, of my region, and switzerland in genaral wen made a trips together . And i realy enjoy the evenings toger wen we sit next to the fire stove with a beer and share the storys of our live from each anther. I thank you so much for help and sharing time with me. I will ever have it in good memorie.

Von Beginn an fühlten wir uns sehr wohl und willkommen bei Dominic und Corinne, aber auch Hercules, TT und der restlichen tierischen Familie. Die Unterkunft, ein gut ausgestattetes Höhlenhaus, ist ein Ort mit besonderer Atmosphäre. Historie, absolute Ruhe und Geborgenheit, kombiniert mit den Annehmlichkeiten einer modernen Wohnung. Dominic ist ein angenehmer und zuverlässiger Mitmensch. Er erklärte sämtliche zu erledigende Tätigkeiten in seiner ruhigen Art und führte diese gemeinsam mit uns aus oder er vertraue auf unsere Selbstständigkeit und Kreativität. So hatten wir über die Wochen, welche wir in der ländlichen Ruhe vor den Toren von Castilléjar verbrachten, viel Freude, gute Gespräche und erwarben neue Fertigkeiten. Auch die gelegentlichen gemeinsamen Mahlzeiten mit Corinne und Dominic taten uns gut. Hier hat es uns wirklich gut gefallen!

I had a very positive experience at this hostel — the owners are genuinely kind, helpful, and always approachable. The location is super central, so it’s easy to get anywhere quickly — perfect for exploring the city without hassle. The tasks were straightforward and quick to complete; the routines were clear, the teamwork was pleasant, and there was plenty of time left to enjoy the surroundings. Overall, a smooth Workaway that I’m happy to recommend — many thanks to Sook Min and Albert for the warm welcome and good organization.

The name of the place is meant quite literally here — a place that truly lives up to its promise. I had an exceptionally good experience at this Ayurveda clinic — the treatment was outstanding, and from day one I felt truly welcome and very well cared for. Despite its size — over 100 staff — it feels like a family: attentive, warm, and always ready to help. You’re invited to take part in everything the clinic offers and get fascinating insights into Ayurveda routines — learning something new every day. The atmosphere is wonderfully structured yet deeply human; you quite literally live like a king — which makes you want to give your very best in return. Organization, communication, and care were exemplary throughout; questions were taken seriously, processes explained transparently, and there was space to really arrive and settle in. You couldn’t wish for a better Workaway — heartfelt thanks to Marcel, Chaya and the entire team for this inspiring and lasting experience.

Having Justin with us was an absolutely wonderful and heartwarming experience. He became part of the family from day one. He took great care of our kids , they adored him , cooked delicious meals, the pumpkin pie nd soup were, delicious;helped out in the garden, and gave us a hand with some DIY jobs around the finca He was always kind, respectful. We loved the shared moments, the intresting conversations and the house already feels a bit emptier without him here. We really hope to see him again in the future. We can recommend Justin wholeheartedly. Thank you for everything!

Lana and Ruby stayed here for two weeks. They were very beautiful and friendly. Ruby made very delicious food, and Lana made tasty guava jam. They always took care of the cows, maintained the house, and even decorated my kitchen. We planted many seeds and plants. We cut grass together, and they learned very quickly. You both helped me so much on my farm. Thank you, Lana and Ruby.

Ollie is a very pleasant and calm man (with great taste in music). During the ten days I stayed with him, he took me to the sea a couple of times and to the Riwaka Resurgence, which was wonderful. He often had interesting things to share and talk about. Since I arrived in spring and most of the trees were already planted, my main task was to go around the property with the weed eater, which I didn't mind at all. I also didn’t have to work long hours each day, which gave me plenty of time to explore the beautiful surroundings. The meditation platform was one of my favorite spots. The two energetic kids were not a disturbance—in fact, they brought a lively energy to the place. However, without having a car, it can feel a bit isolating if you’re not keen on cycling. The room I was given was also very comfortable. The property is close to Abel Tasman, which I visited afterward. All in all, it was a lovely experience and I would definitely recommend it.

I had a truly incredible stay with Tinne and Peter. I was with them for two weeks, and they made me feel right at home, creating such a welcoming and positive environment for me and the other Workawayers. I did a variety of gardening tasks, such as weeding, picking up sticks, and cleaning the goat shed and the chicken coop. There wasn't a boring day, as each one was filled with new experiences, great company, and something fun to do. Their property is breathtaking, and, although the weather wasn't the best, I was still able to go for beautiful walks nearby. They also took us to visit the Chocolaterie and the Healesville Sanctuary, and they hosted a big dinner on our last night with the entire family around a bonfire. I can't put into words how much this experience meant for me, and I will cherish every memory forever. Thank you again for everything!

I spent a few weeks with Atena and Giorgio and felt right at home. They are such genuine, honest people with real personality. If you're looking for real people, without artifice, with big hearts and intelligence, you should come here. Plus, the animals are lovely, and everything around them is beautiful. They take care to take you to historical and natural sites, charming towns, events, fairs, and beautiful beaches. I'll be back as soon as I can because I felt so happy there. Giorgio has very deep conversations, and Atena is so funny. I appreciate you both! And thank you for your hospitality and kindness!

We stayed with Jennie and Norman for about 2 weeks and had a very nice stay. The work was never too much and we enjoyed feeding and getting to know the animals. Jennie is a very good cook and we were always welcomed to make ourselves at home in the house as well as in the sleep out which comfortably fit two people. The nature surrounding Outram is Beautiful and very good for walks and days at the beach, which the work free weekends were perfect for. We are very thankfull for the time and will cherish it always.

Polly, Tim, Evie, Bear and Cuddles... we cannot express enough the gratitude we feel for this wonderful family! From the moment we arrived we felt so blessed to have the opportunity of looking after the beautiful land they have been so lovingly nurturing with food trees, chickens and a magnificent surrounding forest. They have been so amazing and generous to us in showing us around, supporting us a lot in our adventures, introducing us to people and giving heaps of tips for our time in Kuranda. We have a 3 year old daughter and they have been so caring, considerate and kind to her, Luna absolutely adores them and will always treasure the play times they shared with Evie! The dog Bear is just the most ADORABLE thing ever, and the home is a truly magical place. We are so happy and honoured to have met such beautiful humans who's big heart and love for the Earth can be noticed all around. Thank you dear family for allowing us into your unique and sacred home, we will always remember our time here as the most special blissful oasis for our family's journey 💜

We exchanged e-mails, texts and a phone call. Marlon sent his travel plans and arrival time and bus stop for us to collect him. I text and asked him on the arrival day to let me know when he was 30 minutes from the meeting point. We received no reply but went to the bus stop anyway in case of no phone charge etc. Waited at the stop for nearly 2 hours in case bus was delayed. Tried to phone 3 times and no answer.

Wow, what an experience with the wonderful Megumi san and her beautiful family. I would recommend this Workaway to anyone. I miss them all dearly and actually hope to visit them before I leave Japan. Megumi san is a treasure of a person. She made me feel so completely welcome, safe and at home from day one. I have so much admiration for her and feel so incredibly grateful that I could be a part of her and her family’s life. Megumi san and Ryota san (or Papa as we all called him hehe) are so incredibly kind and warm. I really hope I gave them all as a great experience as they gave me. I felt very respected, safe and loved, exactly as though I was a part of their family. I love the girls so much, and absolutely loved learning about them. I am so excited to find out who they will be in the future.They all have very beautiful, friendly and unique personalities. Watching them blossom, even just over two months, was such a highlight of my stay - and a highlight of my time in Japan. Writing this now, I wish I was with them all and hearing their gorgeous laughs. They all gave me so much happiness. Everyday was full of laughter, learning, connection, communication and warmth. I was also so grateful that Megumi san and Ryota san were very happy for me to practice speaking Japanese and were so helpful with this. I really can’t recommend this Workaway experience enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you all dearly and am so grateful. If you tell me where to start, it's certainly going to be difficult for me because we had so many great experiences with this creature. Francis met Giulia online, and even before she joined the organisation, she was really interested in helping, unlike other travellers who just wanted to travel on a low budget. Giulia stayed with us for two months, during which time she brought about significant change to our organisation. She made every child happy and supported the organisation's challenges in any way she could. If you get the chance to host her, we highly recommend it, because she is so interesting. She left us in a difficult situation where we felt that life was unfair. The only promise we can make is that we will always miss you, Giulia, and that the doors are always open to you at Kigungu Kids Educare, so feel free to come back.

My 18 days at this Homestay was an exceptional experience. I would not have the magical experience of Sikkim if it were not for this WorkAway placement. The location against the high mountain slopes is topped by a distance view of Kanchenjunga mountain. The ecological integrity with which this family lives is inspiring. My tasks were varied and brought me in contact with the warm hearted community. The lush garden presented an autumn bouquet. I loved my secluded room, a real little she-cave! Bhawana, Mandeep and their 5 year old made me one of the family. Thank you for a unforgettable experience.
