The three weeks I spent with Pauline and Raoul were such a wonderful experience. I felt at home from the first moment. It was my first workaway stop and I was not disappointed. The kids are just terrific and I loved living in such a big family. Bandit the dog and coco the cat were my best buddy's, just cute.

It was so incredible to stay with Pauline, Raoul and the kids. They welcomed me into the family immediately and made me feel so at home with them, I honestly cannot recommend anymore. Gaspard, Solene, Lea and Zoe were all so wonderful and had such amazing and different personalities; they're fantasic kids who are all so fun and lovely to be

Pauline showed me the ropes in the kitchen, and there was always some incredbile baked goods around for us to indulge in. Most of the work time was spent outside with Raoul in the garden, helping with planting, harvesting and weeding. I learnt so much about permaculture that I never knew before. Other times I would be helping out with cooking, cleaning and other basic house-work. The work was always varied and so flexible, which made everything such a relaxing experience.
I also cannot forget Bandit the lovely dog and Coco the kitten who was bursting with personality and wanting to cuddle every night.
For time off, I was free to do whatever I liked, but I was always invited to any family events they were partaking in. We went to the Skybridge together, the weekly concert, paddleboarding and even biked up to the lake. My time in Golden was incredible, thanks completely to Raoul and Pauline. We host Megan in April 2023 and it was a pleasure to have her as part of our family for over 3 weeks.
She was awesome with the kids as she challenged them to play a new boardgame every day! They loved it!
Megan was very volunteer to help as much as she could in out busy life. She was very independent and was able to see what was needed to be done

Pauline is a wonderful host and I had a great time hanging out with the kids. We played loads of boardgames, went out for walks and bike rides and spent a lot of time outside enjoying the spring sunshine. Bandit and lila were wonderful pets.

What an experience! I stayed about two weeks with Pauline and Raoul and had an amazing time at their house. The tasks varied from day to day (with some daily chores) and were super interesting and fun.
