I spent a month living and helping Barbara, Gimmy, and Angelo. I feel so lucky to have stayed here; I had such an amazing time and could not have asked for a better first Workaway experience. Barbara was so generous, we had many great conversations over cups of tea. She is an excellent cook and was so kind to introduce me to all of her friends in
… read more the area. She really puts the effort into making sure you have a great time. I felt so at home from the minute I walked in the doors. Angelo is a fun and energetic kid! We had so much fun playing together, sun tanning on the balcony, going sledding, and baking cookies. The area, in general, is breathtaking; the train stop in the village makes it so convenient to travel around and explore. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I will hold these memories close to my heart. I hope to travel back sometime in the summer! Barbara and her little one Angelo are amazing people! Basia is very communicative and offers the best to you. She will take you on her trips with her son on your time off, she will offer you great food, and she will offer you outstanding conversations.

Magda is amazing person with an open minded look to the world. She read books to my little boy when he was about to turn 2yo, played Lego’s, build cars, made all home cooking and natural juices. For sure she will know how to prepare you a healthy meal that you will love :)

Abigail was a great company for Angelo during my work days. They discovered many hiking trails together and she was very good role model for him. He picked up some American accent and had good playing time with her.

I stayed with this lovely family for a few weeks and it was absolutely wonderful! The location is beautiful with nature surrounding you all around, Angelo is very smart and creative and will teach you everything about anything. Barbra is a excellent host and makes amazing dinners and is a great tour guide! One of my favorite experiences.

In your free time there is lots to see and do in the area! The landscape here is just amazing, so if you enjoy hiking, this will be the right place for you!
