  Hola chicas,
  
  I’m Angela (32, originally from Peru) and have been living in Europe for over 14 years. For few years my now ex partner and I have been non stop traveling through Latin America and Europe until in 2022 we made a long break in Berlin due to pregnancy and post partum.
  Once we felt confident again, we took our daughter, dog, minimalistic bags and went on a 7 months trip within our parental leave.
  However, I felt the need to have a physical home for a while again, so I came back to Berlin with Enola (now 17 months) where we still have a quite nice apartment with great potential for interior re-structure and decoration. For that I’m opening the doors of our home to receive female (only!) volunteers from any background who’d like to help me make this place a bit more comfortable.
  
  I’m trying to live everyday as conscious and active as possible, healing to become the mother my daughter needs and enjoying what this amazing diverse city has to offer especially during spring/summer.
  I’d love you to experience Berlin and our time together as authentically as possible!

  Location: We’re central located, only few minutes away from the famous Mauerpark, trendy neighborhood Prenzlauer Berg, diverse historical sights and only steps away from public transport for you to move freely!
  
  Languages: I speak German, Spanish, English and French fluently (intermediate on Italian), so we could communicate and practice on these languages while you’re here if you’d like to!
  
  Sports: I’m passionate about Beachvolley (currently training A2), dancing and in-line skating. You’re welcome to join me on these activities during the week.
  
  I can also share with you my urban sports club account for you to join all kind of different activities this platform offers. I use it almost everyday to join mama/baby courses, self defense or meditation classes.
  
  For me, Berlin is the place to be when it’s warm! As I have a little explorer with me, I try to spend most of the day outdoors, so you’re welcome to join us to the many parks and lakes around whenever it suits to your schedule here!

  Ajuda

  If you want to collaborate with me, you must see and respect children/animals as you’d expect to be seen and respected by others and also have a consciousness for sustainability. I’m not needing any help with child or dog care but they’ll be around, so it’s important you’re open to enjoy their lively energy!
  Once we agree on the tasks to be done during your stay, I will give you the flexibility and trust to manage them independently, so it is important that you work with honesty and don’t need constant supervision.
  
  These are some of the projects I’d need help with:
  
  1. PRIORITY - carpentry work:
  - build a DIY build-in wardrobe at the entrance
  - build a small DIY climbing wall for my toddler
  
  2. PRIORITY - bee & birds friendly balcony : I do really think that this space in our flat has great potential to be a little oasis, so I’d love to brainstorm with you on how to maximize the space, make it look homey and cozy for humans, birds and insects and work on DIY furniture (maybe together?) - experience with gardening and wild plants preferably
  
  3. PRIORITY - flat renovation & maintenance: small repairs and improvements to be done. For that I would need volunteers with crafty and technical abilities to complete some painting, hanging some furniture (experience using drill required), fixing some holes on the walls..
  
  4. Cooking nutritious meals: this would be one of the greatest ways of support for my everyday life. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, even better! We don’t have a vegan household but are trying to eat as balanced and organic as possible.
  
  5. Household: e.g daily vacuuming, laundry, getting the trash out, getting groceries, etc
  
  6 NOT SURE YET - Laying the floor: If you have experience on that, let’s chat. I’m considering it depending on the time it demands.

  Acomodação

  In exchange for your help. (5-6 hours a day), you’ll get free accommodation wether within the studio with a large comfortable bed 180x200 or within a private room with a very comfy 140x200 bed which were decorated in a minimalistic style (which one we offer depends on the projects that we are going to start while you’re here.
  
  If you cook, I’m providing with the needed groceries to prepare tasty balanced family meals (we can share them but we don’t have to - I’d be very flexible about this because of the baby).
  
  In that case that you don’t cook for us, I’m only offering accommodation in exchange for a help of of 3-4 hours a day only.

  Sometimes we’re sharing the flat with my mom ( a very charming, sportive and loving woman who’s out for almost the whole day and who takes care of Enola when needed).
  
  If you smoke (I’m extremely allergic to the smell) or consume substances, and are in Berlin to party everyday, my home isn’t the right place for you, so please don’t apply.
