They are wonderful people, so kind and caring.
They have a lovely house in the most wonderful place, full of nature and, of course, the sweetest animals!!

We felt much freedom and we appreciate their flexibility.
Also, we weren’t vegan when we arrived, but far from being a problem, it became a perfect opportunity to learn about an admiring lifestyle. And look at us now, fully vegan!!

… read more this process as well!! We had a few days holiday during their stay and then my husband was in hospital so I was in to see him a lot. They looked after everything perfectly - including a crazy collie puppy. I hope they will come back and see us someday, our door is always open to them.

In return I stayed in a small studio, detached from the house, super cozy and they cooked for me vegan meals that I never imagined would be so delicious, including the best cinnamon buns and pizza of Ireland. 😋
In my free time we did yoga, watched movies and went on a little trips together.

Laura stayed with us at the end of 2023. She is a very kind, sweet person and was always willing to help. She walked the dogs and gave all the animals lots of cuddles, helped with the gardening and planting up window boxes and planting bulbs in the woods, lots of things!! We wish Laura all the best.

The work never really felt like work. I liked every task from painting the kitchen, planting in the greenhouse, walking the dogs, building a fence with Finn and of course making paper potts, which is probably one of my new hobbies. I had no other stay where the tasks to do were so various and they always asked if I was ok with doing them.
Also I met their children such as their neighbours and friends, who have been all so welcoming and funny.
My last day was like the big finale in a movie with the big musical show of Patricia and the birthday of Aidan with the big party at the same day, What a night <3
Thank you for all the conversations, the amazing vegan food, funny TV nights, taking me to activities and rehearsals, sister act ear worms ^^ and many great memories
I will never forget my time here and miss you already.

WOW! I was blown away by the welcome, care and respect that I got from Patricia and Aidan.
My stay with them started with a rescue mission in the dark. As I had failed to cycle all the way to theirs with a faulty back wheel. They were glad to come and pick me up in their van and after a while at the side of the road in the dark, it felt wonderful
… read more to be riding along with them listening to their hilarious approaches on topics and their great humor - very welcoming! From rescue mission to repair mission, Patricia happily when out of her way the very next day, taking me to get bike repairs done to get it back on the road.
But importantly... The food!! They were so generous and made absolutely sure that I'd be full of everything I needed to get me through a long days cycle... and even sent me away with a pot of (delicious) home made jam!
Anyone would be lucky to even meet them, but if you get the chance to help them along then you're in!! A MUST for any vegans out there! ;)
