. The Place Is strategic to reach easily in the week end , Amsterdam, Utrecht, rotterdam and more. During the week, you can enjoy Apeldoorn and lots of nature around. The daily agenda for any workawayer Is easy to arrange with lovely hearts & open mind people and all is super and goes organically. Don't worry, he Happy maybe the Song of the stay😁🎊. All the elements above will help you detach from your Life and dive into another reality which Is full of space to create good moments with this lovely Hearted family and with yourself in the free time.

Nathalie and Martijn were amazing hosts. They always made sure that I had food and that I didn't go hungry, they were welcoming and kind too.
There was a schedule for the family and workawayers which meant I always knew what was going to happen during the day and what they expected of me, which I was grateful for.

… read more which I visited the local town during my free time with I also made good use of.
They were relaxed about when I worked my hours hours and at one point I managed to get hold of last minute concert tickets for my favourite band and they were happy to let me take the evening off to attend, which was really amazing.
The two children, Pom and Tibbe were really lovely and I was able to teach Pom about photography and Tibbe about making stop motion films.
Nathalie also took me to meet a spiritual author in which I interviewed for a documentary I wanted to make whilst I was there, which was really really interesting. I learnt a lot about spirituality and energy from my conversations with Nathalie which I was also grateful for.
Martijn is really passionate about music, like myself, and we had a few jam sessions which I really enjoyed! I even had chance to watch him and his colleague perform at a festival, which was great!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

My stay there was incredible, i loved every single moment spent with Martijn, Nathalie, Pomme and Tibbe. Honestly i can't find any negative point except that this single month has gone by too quickly, so let's go for the positive ones :

… read more felt at home during this month, the atmosphere in the house and the family is very warm and cool and I was always welcomed to take part to the activities like going on a ride with the horses, meeting their family, watching a film etc...
Everyone there love music, talking about it, sharing our favorites one or playing it , and i loved that.
Nathalie is extremely patient and always cheerful, you can discuss with her about your things and vice versa, it felt good to have someone so radiant around me :)
Martjin is always making sure you are okay and that you are not starving ahah, he is also very grateful for what you are bringing there + he is extremely funny and he creates such a nice atmosphere by singing and playing music during the day.
Tibbe and Pomme are very lovely and smart, looking after them was very easy for me, i loved having fun with Tibbe by playing board games, chess or even by teaching him various things, it was such great moments :p
During my stay I got the opportunity to stay the 2 first weeks with Lara, she is a wonderful person and we got the chance to visit Utrecht, it was so fun. She explained me all I had to do when I arrived sooo it was helpful ! ( + we could split the tasks eheh )
I also met Julia another workawayer who is currently there, she is very skilled at playing piano and much pleasant.
My experience there was perfect from the start till the end.
Thank you again for those beautiful moments, I recommend it highly.

I had the nicest month living with Nathalie, Martijn, Tibbe and Pomme!
My tasks were: cleaning the stables every morning, feeding the horses few times a day and some house chores as cleaning, gardening or cooking. During the day I had plenty of time to spend either by myself or with the kids.

… read more could always join them watching a film, for a walk, for the groceries and even meeting their granparents!
Nathalie is the most patient person I have ever met, she is always there to explain you everything and to share thoughts, with her I had the best conversations. Martijn always tries (and manages) to make you feel confortable and at home in any way and having him playing and singing around the house always creates a magical atmosphere. Pom and Tibbe are energetic and creative kids and they can't wait for you to join them palying any kind of game.
While I was staying with them there was also another workawayer. Having Lilian around was great! Both because we were able to split the tasks and because we could spend time together (for example we viseted Utrecht). Sharing my experience with someone else was lovely!

Our time with Ohran was fantastic.
We already miss him. He is one of those people that grows on you.
Towards the kids Ohran was very open, patient and understanding. He played a lot of games and sports with them, laughed and conversed with them in Dutch and English.

He didn’t mind chores, cooked for us. His deserts are very nice and sweet. Much like Ohran himself is nice and sweet.
At the end of the days, during and after lunch we had nice, intelligent conversations. He has done a lot of studies and knows a lot about the world.
All in all it was a great experience having Ohran around, and we can recommend him to other workaway hosts around the world.

I stayed at Nathalie and Martijn's place for about 1.5 weeks. During this time, there was only one job that I did every day on a regular basis. It was to feed the horses and clean the stable. … read more playing games with the children. Nathalie and Martijn are very calm and tolerant, It is definitely not heavy in the work to be done.
In one corner of the house, you meet the cool Martijn, who plays the piano beautifully, sings songs, makes you laugh with his fine jokes, and in the other corner, you meet the always positive and smiling Nathalie, who looks at the horses with great interest and love. And between them, the emotional child of the house, the helpful Tibbe and the energetic and cute Pommelie. You can play with them in many different games and witness their imagination and creativity.
Nathalie and Martijn try to take decisions as much as possible by asking their children's opinions, consulting them and making them happy. It is interesting and admirable for their children to get to know themselves, to discover, and to subject them to an education system that is far from certain patterns that will hinder their creativity.
Although I lost my energy due to the flu for the last 4-5 days, it was a different and pleasant experience for me.

They live in a lovely area in the south of the Netherlands, on the suburbs of Apeldoorn.

Martijn works in the music industry, and also somewhere where there were other workawayers I was able to meet, along with other similar-aged people.
No day was ever dull, everything was always interesting and there were always new things to learn:)
All in all, I had an amazing time, and I hope to re-visit one day in the future if I ever come back to the Netherlands.

Alex stayed for 2 weeks at our house to assist us with the kids who are homeschooled. Alex shared his passion of the boyscouts, which our kids really enjoyed.
