  Hi there!
  We are looking for a Spanish-speaking female au pair (20 years or older) to join our family in the Pyrenees. We’d love to find someone who enjoys nature, is friendly and easy-going, loves spending time with young children, and appreciates a calm lifestyle.
  
  We are a traditional Dutch family who moved three years ago to a small mountain village (1,500 meters above sea level). We live in our self-built off-grid wooden house on a piece of land. There are several restaurants and small shops nearby. There is also a swimming pool, a gym, a padel court, a football field, and a volleyball court in the village.
  A ski slope is close by, and the nearest big city is a two-hour drive away… we live quite remotely!
  
  We love mountain life and the peace and simplicity it brings.
  We have two daughters, almost 4 and 2 years old. We homeschool, eat mostly organic whole foods (not vegetarian), practice gentle parenting, enjoy nature and hiking, and most of all, we live outside the “rat race.” Every week we see what we feel like doing: we love a flexible rhythm. I’m a stay-at-home mother and truly enjoy spending time with the children. Since we speak Dutch at home, our daughters mainly hear and speak Spanish when we’re with friends.
  
  To help them learn Spanish naturally, we’re looking for an au pair who’d like to spend about 20 hours a week with them. Caring for and doing activities with the children is your main focus; I will take care of most of the other tasks myself.
  
  The au pair will have her own accommodation: a luxury glamping cabin on a private piece of land, 100 meters from our family house. You can also borrow a car for trips or outings.

  Estamos buscando una au pair de habla hispana (mujer, 20 años o más) para unirse a nuestra familia en los Pirineos. Nos encantaría encontrar a alguien que disfrute de la naturaleza, sea amable y relajada, le guste pasar tiempo con niños pequeños y aprecie un estilo de vida tranquilo.
  
  Somos una familia tradicional holandesa que se mudó hace tres años a un pequeño pueblo de montaña (a 1.500 metros sobre el nivel del mar). Vivimos en nuestra casa de madera autosuficiente y construida por nosotros mismos, en un terreno propio. En el pueblo hay varios restaurantes y pequeñas tiendas cerca. Hay una piscina, un gimnasio, una pista de pádel, un campo de fútbol y un campo de voleibol. Hay una pista de esquí cercana, y la ciudad más grande está a dos horas en coche… ¡vivimos bastante apartados!
  
  Nos encanta la vida en la montaña y la paz y simplicidad que ofrece.
  Tenemos dos hijas, de casi 4 y 2 años. Hacemos homeschooling, comemos alimentos orgánicos y naturales (no vegetarianos), practicamos una crianza respetuosa, disfrutamos de la naturaleza y de las excursiones, y, sobre todo, vivimos fuera de la “carrera de ratas”. Cada semana decidimos qué nos apetece hacer; nos gusta un ritmo flexible. Soy madre que se queda en casa y disfruto mucho pasar tiempo con las niñas. Como hablamos holandés en casa, nuestras hijas principalmente escuchan y hablan español cuando estamos con amigos.
  
  Para ayudarles a aprender español de manera natural, buscamos una au pair que quiera pasar unas 20 horas a la semana con ellas. Cuidar y hacer actividades con los niños será tu tarea principal; yo me encargaré de la mayoría de las otras tareas.
  
  La au pair tendrá su propio alojamiento: un lujoso bungalow tipo glamping en un terreno privado, a 100 metros de nuestra casa. También podrás usar un coche para excursiones o salidas.
  
  Si quieres unirte a nosotros como au pair, te daremos una cálida bienvenida a nuestra familia, te mostraremos todos los lugares hermosos de los alrededores y esperamos ofrecerte una experiencia realmente maravillosa en la montaña.

  The au pair will have a large private bedroom with a wardrobe, and if you’d like, an extra room with a desk. You can also borrow a car for trips or outings. The au pair can eat with us, but she can also add her own food to our shopping list. We will provide all the food.
