  I will first introduce ourselves. Our family consists of three people. That is me, Patricia, my husband Richard and our son Eric. We are a Dutch family who have been running a beautiful campsite in Skabram, Northern Sweden, since May 2018. Skabram is located just outside of Jokkmokk and above the Arctic Circle.
  
  Besides the campsite we also have a small farm with animals such as goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and alpacas.
  
  We are a small farm campsite where my husband and I work with just the two of us. In the high season (may - september) we are very busy with the campsite and the guests and therefore we are looking for some help with the care of the animals, cleaning, gardening and some painting. Occasionally we will also ask you to look after our son.
  
  We offer free accommodation and we will pay a pre-agreed amount per worked hour. We also provide lunch on days that your work (5 days a week). We expect from the workers to pay for the other meals themselfs. In addition to work, there will be plenty of free time to explore the area. On the free days there is a car available to explore the area.
  
  Skabram is a true paradise for hikers, fishermen and nature lovers. In the summer the Midnight Sun shines continuously for three months and you can therefore fully enjoy all the natural beauty, day and night. Simply a unique experience! And of course here you can also see the Northern lights. If you're lucky this can already be seen from the beginning of September.

  We will try to show you as much as possible about life on the campsite and farm, but also about the surroundings, And of course we cannot forget the Sami.
  
  The Sami are the indigenous inhabitants of Lapland (Sápmi). The Sami have their own language, culture and parliament, and it is precisely in these regions that you can learn a lot about traditional and contemporary Sami culture. There is a lot of attention for recognition and preservation of the Sami languages, handicraft techniques and traditions. A visit to the popular Sami museum is highly recommended

  We are looking for reliable and friendly helpers with a sense of responsibility. Someone with love for animals and nature. We expect you to be able to work well alone but also in a team.
  
  We generally expect you to work for about 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, sometimes less and sometimes more. Days normally start at around 9 o'clock in the morning.
  
  Good condition is required because the work also includes physical tasks such as carrying heavy buckets of water for the animals.
  
  We prefer workers who are willing to stay at least 3 weeks.

  For the workers we have a cabin available with a living room, 2 bedrooms, bathrooms and a kitchen. You will share this cabin with other workers, but you will have your own bedroom.

  Camping Skabram is an excellent base for those who want to go out. Color-marked hiking trails lead from the campsite into the forest and take you along picturesque lakes to beautiful viewpoints and picnic areas.
  The impressive national parks of Sarek, Padjelanta, Muddus and Stora Sjöfjället are also easily accessible from our campsite.
  
  Or throw your fishing rod at the edge of Lake Skabram or row the water with a boat. Who knows, you might get your dinner together! You can also head out to famous fishing areas such as Pärlälven and enjoy the tranquility and impressive nature. There are fire places on the campsite where you can bake your own caught fish.
  During warm summer days (they exist!) You can also cool off in the Skabram lake and laze in the sun on our small stone beach.
