Hi.
We are a family of 5, husband & wife with a 5year old boy, 13year old girl , 1 year old boy. oh & 2year old cockapoo. 🐶
We have 7 acres on the Wild Atlantic Way in Galway, on the edge of the Burren.
It includes a little private wood.

We have a website and would like some help with content creation,

We are usually very busy so we would ideally look for people who are independent and self starters.

I spent a week in the beautiful village along the West coast of Ireland. Ivan and Tina are so welcoming and laid back. Tim was a great help to us for the week he stayed with us. He was able to do a wide variety tasks from construction work to looking after our vegetable garden to making 3d drawings of our new house.
He is very sociable and wish he could have stayed longer. He's welcome back anytime!!

Yes of course you missed the workaway spirit, your stay was accommodated last minute you requested to stay 2 days –
Saturday and Sunday so you could visit Galway City and the Cliffs of Moher in Clare in these 2 days which then in turn of course limited your time hugely with us to have a ‘workaway spirit experience’ if you were away both afternoons… read more and evenings on your excursions and had planned to do the polytunnel work in the mornings so you could fit in these visits over the 2 days, there was unfortunately little time for anything else.
We have always had all our previous guests over to our home for dinner.
I am self employed and work 6 days a week and Sunday is my only day off.
My pregnant wife was unable to meet with you as I explained she was ill over the weekend

I arrived as soon as I could to fix the air lock on the shower - within 2 hours on Saturday.
Unfortunately in this instance I was unable to drop what I was doing and get to you straight away.
My car was parked 1km away at a call out job. I am a local electrician so yes my car is generally in the area.
I had been replying via WhatsApp to Flor to help troubleshoot the issue with the shower and as soon as I was able to attend the mobile home I did and fixed it but that was clearly not good enough.
To say ‘I did not dare’ to come and fix it, is simply a lie and untrue, I was just unable to attend immediately.
I also could see the job very well done in the polytunnel on Saturday evening when I got there and you had left.

You failed to mention all the other dried food that was provided for you in the mobile home (cereal, pasta, rice, pasta sauces, cookies, chips, tea, chocolate spread, jam, peas, beans condiments etc which I did say you were very welcome to help yourself to everything and you did……
The eggs butter bread and biscuits were fresh food purchased on the day of your arrival to add to the other food that was provided to you.
If you needed anything further we would have been more than happy to provide it if we had known.
We are not sure what else we could of provided for a 2 day stay??
I was expecting to see you both on Monday morning and thank you personally for a job well done and have a chat as I wasn’t aware you were leaving on Sunday night --redacted--
I was clearly not attentive enough based on your assumptions but if you had known the truth,
the circumstances and that there is always two sides to very story before you left you may have been more understanding.

Overall, our stay in your place was fine, but we missed quite a lot the workaway spirit. We’ve had another experiences and always shared with our hosts. In the two days we stayed in your field, on the other hand, we only saw you for 15 minutes. We didn’t meet your family.
