  Our project is an Active Elementary School that combines different pedadogies such Montessori, Waldorf or Reggio Emilia in a beautiful location. Murcia is a lively city located in the Mediterranean, surrounded by beaches and mountains. It is a perfect place to discover the Spanish life without the stress of big cities. Our school is like a big family where we look after each other, enjoy while we are learning and let the children grow and learn together.

  They will enjoy learning and living in a sunny Spanish city that has all the facilities of big towns but still keep the charm of the authentic Spanish life. They can learn Spanish, meet new people, being part of our comunity. Also, they will work in an active and respectful school where teaching and learning are understood in a different way from traditional schools.

  Ajuda

  We need English speakers to help us out in the classrooms, bringing their culture and language to the children and teachers. We have a lovely small school full of interesting projects related to nature, art, music, English and sports. The help required is for 25 hours a week (Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 14.00). We would need people that can commit for at least 4-6 weeks. The volunteer will assist and help the main teachers, also he/she will be free to bring their own workshops to the classes. Teaching experience would be ideal, but we are open to all kind of enthusiastic person that would like to join us and has experience with children.

  Acomodação

  The accommodation and food are free, the volunteer will live with one of the families of the school. The room will be a single room will all the facilities. Daily food will be provided by the host family. Transport to school and back will be provided too.

  Murcia is a place with plenty of opportunities to enjoy and adaptable to all the tastes and hobbies. One of the most amazing thing is the nice weather as we are in the mediterranean coast. This allows to practice all kind of outdoors sports and activities during the whole yea in beatiful beaches and mountains. If you prefer the city life, you will enjoy all the facilities of a big city, but with the prices and distances of a small one. You can enjoy the cinema, restaurants, theatre, museums, concerts, cultural activities, bars and restaurants.
