① Interviews for the 2025-2026 season will begin in July 2025. Please apply after July.
② Please answer the 12 questions listed in the facility profile before applying.
③ You must meet the following conditions.
- Hold an international driver's license and be able to drive in Japan.
- Be 23 years of age or older at the time of employment.
- Hold a working holiday visa.
In Nozawa Onsen Village, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, there is a snow resort that not only Japanese tourists but also foreign tourists from all over the world visit every winter. It has a tradition that surpasses Niseko and Hakuba, and is a sacred place for skiers and snowboarders where you can enjoy some of the world's best powder snow in winter.
We run a Japanese-style guesthouse accommodation business and a small restaurant/café business in the village. We are looking for helpers over the Winter season from December to March.

Since most of our guests are foreigners, we need staff who can convey the spirit of Japanese hospitality in a foreign language (English required) so that the guests will feel glad to have stayed here.

If you can speak Japanese, it would be a great help and increase your chances. Good hospitality experience and skills are a plus too. Couples preferred but anyone is welcome to apply. Wage paid for every hour of help. Priority will be given to those who can stay during the season (mid-December to mid-March).

We need help with some different types of hospitality work including, snow shovelers, concierges(guests relations), porters, general cleaners, cafe baristas, kitchen hands, drivers, etc.
We need couples to assist the Manager with general oversight of the Japanese style guesthouse hotel. The couples would assist with keeping common areas clean and tidy, liaising with guests, and snow shoveling pathways when needed, and assist with luggage upon guest arrival/departure.
Work is basically a total of a few hours each day, and the rest of the time you can ski or board. We pay a statutory rate for the hours worked.*Japanese tax (20.42%) will be deducted from your salary.

Working hours : 4-5 hours a day
Snow Shovelling (during heavy snow)

Cleaning (room and common areas) 10:00 - 15:00
Restaurant/Cafe 7:00 - 9:00 (Morning) 16:00 - 20:00 (Café bar)

There are rooms for staff in the Japanese-style guesthouse. Shared room in staff accommodation. Private room for couples.
Other facilities will be shared with guests. (Shared shower/toilet, guest kitchen, dining, living area, drying room, etc.) Since it is shared with guests, it must be kept clean at all times. The hot springs in the village are free.
Lift tickets are shared among staff.

Nozawa is easily accessible from Tokyo. (Highway bus or Shinkansen)
Nozawa is a great base for other activities and attractions in the Nagano area, and is just a short bus ride from Iiyama Shinkansen Station.
There are many attractions in the area. Snow monkeys are especially famous.
Skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, and fishing are just some of the activities available in the area. We will be happy to guide you through everything.
Fortunately, we often receive a large number of applications, and it is difficult to respond to all of them perfectly.
Your chances increase significantly if you answer the following questions in your initial message:

2) What is your visa status? (In order to receive wages, you need a visa that allows you to work)
3) Work start date and work end date (Winter staff will be evaluated if they can work from mid-December to early March)

6) Which position are you applying for? Details of relevant skills and experience

10) Do you agree that you cannot work concurrently with other companies?
(You may not work for another company while staying at our accommodation.)
