  Last-minute workawayer:
  
  UPDATE FOR MAY 2023: Looking for a powerhouse person to help out for a week or so.
  
  Things I need to do and am not doing and need to get done (or would like to have done):
  
  - continuing with the garden area clean-up - it was totally abandoned for over a year. 2 lovely workawayers just came for a couple weeks and did an excellent job getting things in the garden sorted out.
  
  
  If you have experience with and like to plant/garden this might be a good place for you to be.
  
  Please note that I cannot help with getting residency here in Italy. It seems like it isn't a big deal, but trust me, it is a huge hassle for the host (I don't have the time or energy). Thank you for understanding.
  
  A friend is coming to visit in April/May so most likely I only have space for one person.

  The house is on the Ancona- Rome train line. The area is safe, the people are friendly, This is a very good spot to take a little break from your travels and to recharge your batteries. There are a couple of restaurants that you can walk to.

  -and have the balls to say "Yeah Kelly, you REALLY have to throw this away despite all of your recycling/upcycling projects that you are not doing" or "Hey Kelly, go away, I am going to organize this for you"
  
  
  Of course I provide food and meals (we can also take turns cooking if you like to cook) - you are welcome to eat whatever you like. If you have special food requirements, you will have to take care of them on your own (e.g. tofu, almond milk, gluten-free pasta). Please be sure to let me know what your diet restrictions are and how serious you are about them (e.g. usually vegetarian, but not a fanatic; seriously allergic and will die if I eat XYZ; no food restrictions or allergies but raw onions make me gag) so we can make arrangements to keep everyone nourished and happy.

  Your own room, shared rest of the house. There is a bar very close to my house where the locals meet every day and they are usually very friendly. There is a river across the street frequented by few.
  
  Heat and hotwater is all through a pellet stove. The system has had a few issues lately so cross your fingers and hope for the best (it did work perfectly today). The bedrooms are coldish (even with the radiators on full blast). Sometimes we have to organize the hot water situation (e.g. do we want to take showers in the evening or morning?). I have an outdoor shower in the summer.... but I need some help now in April so chances of using the outdoor solar shower are slim :)

  Google "Grotte di Frasassi" to get an idea of the surroundings. The train station is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment. The closest (not the most beautiful) beach is 40 minutes on the train (make sure to buy tix online or at the bar called 747 which is on the way to the station)

  Unlimited wi-fi (unless you are synchronizing your google drive - that sucks up all the wi-fi when it is on - but it's a good excuse to get off the computer and do something else. Private desk space is available which can be moved around to however you feel best. The chairs are not especially comfortable but not super horrible.

  I do not have private parking but there is a flat parking area near my house.
