This Hostel is a very nice, small, and cozy place with a great atmosphere.
Voted for the best hostel in Macedonia for 2013,2016,2017,2019,2024 and 8th best small hostel worldwide.
We are a crew who own and run this nice and warm hostel and we’ve been traveling a lot, so we know very well what backpackers need :)
So we invite you to stay in our little charming hostel and let us make your visit unforgettable.

We are a hostel that works only with foreign travellers and backpackers and our location is in one of the oldest neighbourhood in Skopje. Here you can meet with a lot of old Skopjans and can learn about the history of Skopje very easy. Our staff is native from Skopje so the helpers will have the opportunity to hang out with us and a lot of macedonian people. Please join us and let us show you Macedonia in real vibe.

I had the most amazing time at this place! I spent a month there and it quickly felt like a home. Andrej and Maki made the whole experience run smoothly, and on top of that they are sweet and funny people! The rest of the staff was so warm and welcomming too!

Working at the hostel was wonderful! It’s a small hostel with real backpackers’ vibes. I’ve meet so many interesting people and had amazing experiences. Zdravo. It's a bit late but and I don't normally do reviews and stuff but this place was super mint. Nice chill accomodating hostel with great vibes. Shanty has been one of the nicest places I've ever been to, it's peaceful and there is such a beautiful energy. They took me in and with no doubt I can call it my home.
