We are a Dutch couple who have a beautiful piece of land in the countrysite in Northern Spain, Galicia.
I am a foraging guide and herbalist. If you come to help us, you can follow a workshop foraging and or herborism.
We are developing a food forest and permaculture vegetable garden. Our goal is to live off-grid and more self-sufficient. We have rooms for workawayers upstars and sometimes a tent in summer will also be available to spend the night in.
We need help with the garden, the forest, and vegetable garden.
There is always work in the garden and a new project.
We have a dog, cat and chickens.
We are looking for home/pet sitters in december 2025 and may 2026.

We do projects for a few hours (4 tot 5 hours) a day. You can walk in this area, to the waterfall or the river. We are 15 minutes from the coast, where you can surf or sub. We cook a lot of vegetables and sometimes fish.

I had the fortune of spending 9 days with them in which Patty taught me to recognizes different herbs, plants and mushrooms and Hans taught me to use the chainsaw and other cool practical jobs.
We mainly cut wood, picked a lot of chestnuts, walnuts and apples and started… read more
