  Hello world!
  We are Vyara and Ilya (she and he respectively, 36 and 46), a Bulgarian couple — now a little family of three — looking for new friends and challenges along the way. We both work remotely and long ago concluded that life is better when you give as much as you receive. A sense of community and real connection with people is what we value most in our day-to-day life.
  We've travelled a lot, basically forever (all of Europe, Morocco, Thailand, Malaysia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Turkey, the Caribbean...) and still have a million places left on the list. We spent a year touring Europe in our old camper-van, crossed Argentina on bicycles, and lived a year and a half on the "La Réunion" island. Most recently, we cycle-toured through Patagonia — this time with our toddler riding along, which was equal parts beautiful and slightly crazy. :)
  Now we've put down roots in Salavre, a small village in eastern France, where we're building a sustainable wooden house by hand and planting a garden and orchard to (eventually) feed ourselves. It's a real learn-as-you-go project, and we'd love some company and extra hands while we get it done.
  What we're looking for help with:
  
  Finishing the house — interior tasks, insulation, woodwork, painting, and the thousand small tasks a self-build throws at you
  Setting up the garden — preparing beds, planting, and general outdoor projects to get things growing
  Babysitting/playing with our 3-year-old so we can really get stuck into the building
  
  No special skills needed — just curiosity, a good attitude, and the willingness to learn alongside us. For accommodation, you'll have your own modern campervan to yourself — a comfortable, private space of your own right on site. You'll also share plenty of good food with us (we eat plant-based) and get a front-row seat to a slightly chaotic but very happy self-build life.

  What we are looking for are people who are optimists, passionate about making the world a better place, cleaner and more self-aware. We do not believe in a world of conspiracies and shadow governments but in our own responsibility to understand and stand for the world we want. We believe in democracy, we believe in the European project, we believe in science.
  
  We need people who are able take initiative, handy and not afraid to use both their brain and hands :). Also, being a strong optimist, believe in the best of what humans can be, open-minded and judgment free with goodness of heart is a way to win us over for sure :)
  
  Long term stays are preferred.
