My name is Alejandra, I am Environmental Chemist, currently working on University of Magallanes. I almost finish my home, where I live with my dogs, Ragnar and Rollo :), an australian sheperd and a half blood. My house is located in Punta Arenas downtown, is a nice and quiet place with confortable space to receive volunteers. Punta Arenas is the capital of the chilean Patagonia, this region is an amazing place to visit (Torres del Paine National Park, Tierra del Fuego Island, Navarino ISland). I used to work as tour guide, so I can help you to organize your trips around here

I can help you to improve your spanish... you´ll see how the people live here, Punta Arenas was not created for tourism as many others in Patagonia, so this is the real way, with families settled since mid 19th century... but the most you will know depends on your enthusiasm to search experiences and make friends.

Mainly I need some pieces of furniture and cover some walls with wood.
