  Hi, we are a family of 3, my husband, myself and our son. We love travelling, reading, walking, hiking, discover new places, watching films, gardening, and particularly we love nature. We live in a quaint bungalow in the Dublin mountains with a stunning view over the city. We are surrounded by beautiful forests, amazing hiking trails, bikers' paradise and yet easy access to visit Dublin city. We are in the process of setting up new areas in our garden, including a border with pollinator friendly plants to promote the increase of bumble bees that are currently in decline.
  We are also trying to create new borders and replacing old plants and grasses with new ones.

  We are very happy to practice with you the English language, watch together films in the evening time, take you to some outstanding hikes (you don't need any experience in this), and show you some of our favourite walks. I love photography so I can show you the best opportunities for great photos if you like nature,animals and flowers.
  At the end of our road, you can enjoy the view of the whole city of Dublin. Visitors, cyclists and hikers all love this place and love to take a selfie of themselves with a lovely background of the city of Dublin! We will be more than happy to explain you the history of our place, take you to some beautiful parks around us and close by museum if you like it, show you around the most beautiful forests in the mountains, a nearby lake, and tell you all about the interesting activities and places to visit around us. There are great opportunities for either walking, hiking and cycling while exploring the Dublin mountains. We love to meet new people and learn from different cultures and always learn from each other.

  Ajuda

  We are looking mainly for help in our garden, we will be working together in creating new borders. We have a quite large and big garden, so we will be delighted to have an extra hand and some help with it.
  We would love help in clearing some brambles, ivy and some weeds, nothing too difficult.
  We are very flexible in choosing your hours of the days in helping us.
  It would be great if you had an interest or some knowledge of gardening, but willing to learn a new skill is the most important to us.
  If the weather is bad there are some indoor jobs that need doing, such as painting a door or a table and small DIY tasks if you are willing to help.

  We have books and reading materials for you to avail for improving your English language level if you wish. We will also open to learn or practice a new language.

  You will have your own bedroom and bathroom with a beautiful view over the garden.
  We are delighted to share with you our meals, we always love to try new recipes and experiment with new cuisines. You are more than welcome to cook sometimes your traditional dishes if you like.
  We are more than happy to teach you cooking, if you like to get involved in the preparation of our diverse selection of meals.

  During your free time, you have plenty of things to do around here. We have local buses that will take you directly to the city centre. You can explore the free museums in the city centre of Dublin, monuments, cathedrals, or just simply enjoy walking around or take a stroll along the river Liffey in sunny days. We also have one of the biggest and trendiest shopping centre of Dublin near us , if you like shopping. There is a local bus that goes directly there.
  We have several golf courses near us. You can find 5 minutes from our house the biggest forest tree zip lines in Ireland. You can also visit The Gap, the largest collection of mountain biking trails in Ireland if you like cycling with over 35 downhill MTB trails. There are also several saunas to enjoy around our area and some quaint little coffee shops and local pubs with traditional Irish music and Irish dances to enjoy especially at weekends.

  There is a big desk in your room to use if you have a laptop or an iPad and want to use it. We have a good internet access in the house with easy access at all times.
