  Hi all! Im Maaike, I am Dutch, my partner is Spanish. Bought an abandoned campo/finca in the countryside and my dream is to make it a paradise! I have 5 dogs walking around, all rescued (had a dogshelter in the past). Im all about holistic living, the natural way as much as possible. Im working full time, give dogtraining classes in my free time and love hiking, gardening etc.
  
  As I bought this quite abandoned campo, there is just so much to do. Due to my fulltime job and the dogs, it's quite a lot for me. I managed to do a lot already, but of course I can use the help as there is ALWAYS new stuff to do.
  
  --> **Be aware: For now, im looking for a couple with a car at this moment! Or someone who can really help independent and have a car (in case you are looking after my dogs and I'm not home so you need to go to the vet). **
  
  - Overall help with small things
  - Taks on the land. I would like to burn old tree cuttings (there is literally piles and piles of it), trim bushes, make a nice and bigger veggie garden.
  - I would like to prepare a chicken coop as well (needs to be ultra protected because of the dogs).
  - People good with wood are welcome! We can use wood from eucalyptus from the forest.
  - I would like to make nice sit areas/canopies
  - Prepare veggie garden (I have it quite small now)
  - Painting the house/terrace
  
  About what we can offer: we have a caravan for you to sleep in. It's a very cosy one which Maaike tuned up a lot. It's a vintage but made nice. If you have a dog, he/she is welcome! I have a LOTS of space for caravan/campers as well. At this exact moment I have one bedroom free as well. Shared bathroom and kitchen. I Myself live in the garden house with outside kitchen. In the main house there is the main kitchen and bathroom for you to use with 2 other persons that rent a room in the main house. In the main house everything is for sharing so also the living room with a nice fireplace and lots of wood to burn!
  I have to say, because of my ADD brain, taking care of myself and my daily life is sometimes a challenge, my work is busy and so it would be really helpful if you are independent, can cook for yourself/us.
  
  Im situated near Ayamonte in the countryside /woods, just 5 to 10 min drive to Ayamonte centre. 15 - 20 min from beach. 5 to 10 min drive to Portugal.
  
  I really could use a hand around here, preferably a couple as it's quite lonely for you if I'm working all the time. But feel free to send me a message!

  We are living in the countryside of Villablanca and Ayamonte. The nearest city is Ayamonte and is just 5 minutes by car. Because of our work with the dogs we are a lot in Portugal as well. The food and drinks around here are pretty cheap. For not even 10 euros you can eat a couple of tapas and have drinks! There is a lot of nature and you can make walks. There are some close villages where you can do activities (for example in Sanlucar de guadiana you can Zipline over the river/border to Portugal). Over the border in Portugal you can also go very easy. We have a lot of international friends and spanish friends and you are welcome to join anywhere we go.

  My internet connection is satalite, not the best. But it works good, I use this for my remote work without problem. It has no limit. In the living room there is a smart tv with Netflix and Prime and Youtube etc

  All dogs welcome! No cats because I have one dog thats not oke with them.
