Anarcha feminist indie non profit theatre and film company setting up in rural town of Stanstead, quebec. We were given two buildings for symbolic amounts and they both need to be painted. We will also set up a film shooting stage in one building. We have 4 bedrooms for people who want to help. We provide healthy food and lodging. You can decide how long you want to stay. We stop work October 15th this year on the exterior. We will also give filmmaking lessons for 3 hours everyday and we will be shooting some scenes for a feature indie film. If you are savvy with black magic, sound editing , document archiving, etc it is welcome but not necessary. Also set painters are needed. Garden needs full transplanting for those who love plants. We speak fluent english and french, and can speak german, spanish ad arabic. Contact us if you want more details and tell us what you can help with. Thank you and happy travels.

Indie film and theatre non profit anarcha feminist organization qarttheatre wishes that Workawayers learn through hands-on experience in independent filmmaking, including three hours of daily filmmaking instruction and participation in scenes for a feature film. Depending on their interests, they can develop skills in set painting, gardening, costume design, sewing, sound recording, digital editing, archiving, and production. Living and working together in our rural Quebec community, sharing meals, and communicating in English, French, and if so inclined in German, Spanish, and Arabic will create a meaningful cultural and language exchange. We will welcome Workawayers as part of our creative team, learn from their skills and perspectives, and share our knowledge of filmmaking, theatre, activism, and collaborative artistic work

Acomodação
A room with access to bathroom and shower, Bathroom is shared. We cook together, and eat together 3 times a day. Kitchen and fridge will have lots of healthy food for your pleasure.

Area has lakes, bike paths, mountain trails and river parks, country roads.Also no drugs or smoking on our properties but you can smoke once on sudewals etc., Alcohool can be consumed but respectfully. A public library and opera house are 30 yards away. There is a healthcare service , pharmacy , various stores and restaurants in walking distance.

The rooms are part of the church ad the studio building, we all share oe shower ad two bathrooms available. We cook together in a large kitchen.
