* At the moment I would host someone who already speaks Italian.
I'm Paola, italian who lives in one of the most ancient cities in the world called Matera, in Basilicata. I believe that travelling and meeting new people is one of the most interesting and amazing experiences in life. I have already travelled in Europe and love meeting new people and practicing new languages. Since I have studied German, I would gladly host an austrian or german Girl, who is also speaking Italian. In addition to this I would also host people from other european countries preferibly from Hungary,Greece, France, Switzerland, Sacandinavia and Spain. Nevertheless do not hesitate to contact me if you come from another european country. Also Italians are very welcomed. It is going to be an unforgettable cultural exchange in which we help each other to improve our language skills and knowledge. I can show you Matera, European Capital of Culture 2019. Also we can travel as travel buddies/friends to other cities and have a good time there. I would still be your host and provide accommodation and food. There is an important thing you need to know before contacting me: I have a disability that impacts my eyesight, which is why I can't see very well. I'm looking for a responsible girl that can accompany me during daily life activities, small excursions and travels. At home I am completely autonomous but outside I depend on other people since I can't move properly on my own. In the past, I made some bad experiences with some volunteers. If you don't think you can handle this responsibility, please don't contact me since I am looking for people that take this job seriously. When I confirm the stay of someone at my house, I expect the volunteer to keep their promise without leaving prematurely. Also beforehand, calculate your time well and tell me in which period you're available. In addition it would be nice for the volunteers to reply when I contact them, even if it's just a polite "no, thank you"! Also I want to point out that I will only accept girls without pets. Travellers will make a new interesting experience meeting a new culture and visiting Matera, fascinating city with a magic landscape. One of the most important aspects I want to point out is the value of making a new friendship, thanks to this experience.

This is not your normal workaway experience with 25h work per week. I am looking for a friend with whom I can have interesting conversations, go for a walk, go on holidays , do cultural activities like going to concerts and just have a good time. You do not need to work here I just want you to be my eyes and become part of my daily life.
Aside from that I am looking for a workawayer to travel in general. I will still provide accommodation and food. For example I have already been one week in Cremona, the city where I have studied musicology, with one of my lovely workawayers. It was a very pleasant journey.

Acomodação
The hosted girl will have their own room with Internet connection and plant of heating. It's a comfortable room, with a window and a writing desk. It is a house with garden, well-connected with the city center. Food will be provided for every meal. However, I would prefer volunteers that aren't vegetarian, but eat everything. For vegans, it won't be possible to stay with me.

In their free-time my guests could visit the Sassi and the city center (by bus or on foot). There are Cafés, churches, belvedere, shops, meeting places in all city. Moreover obviously everyone can choose how to spent her's time off. Regarding my location, we could take the bus to reach the city centre or, if the host girl has a driving license, we can use my mother's car together.
