So many wonderful things to say about our time with Chris and Pam! We were looking for an urgent woofing opportunity because our car was stuck in the garage for over a week — and they truly came to our rescue. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed into their home.

We spent a few nights in their cozy caravan when the it was booked, and the rest in the rental space itself — both were super comfortable. And that view from their home? Absolutely stunning.
Work-wise, we mainly focused on a super interesting project: restoring an old caravan from the inside out. We stripped it down completely — walls, floors, furniture — fixed leaks, added insulation, rewired, and re-covered everything with plywood. Valentin also did some woodworking around the property while I cleaned the workshop gutters and helped out with cooking.
Big thanks again to Chris and Pam for opening their home to us, and for sharing their beautiful village and kind hearts. We’ll remember this stay with full bellies and full spirits!
Marie and Lydia were a great couple of Workawayers from the States. Worldly and willing and task oriented. All those pre-winter jobs were nailed and the place looks like new.
