We are a leading Outdoor and Adventure company based in Jordan, established in 2007. We are specialized in providing a broad range of adventures, activities and services (such as canyoning, diving, sea sports, family tours, hiking, sightseeing, team building and rock climbing) to corporations, organizations, private groups and individuals. Our adventures will allow our customers to discover the beautiful nature of Jordan, while improving their physical health, self-sufficiency, risk-taking, and their will to achieve.

We also share an office at an NGO that is making a positive impact in the youth of Jordan. When in the office, you will be working in a co-working space and will also be asked to assist with some work for the projects.

Important notes:
> Minimum stay is one month
> Unfortunately we don't provide food in our accommodation
> There is no wifi at the accommodation but you are welcome to use it at the office
> We host a maximum of 6 volunteers at any given time

You will work together with Jordanian colleagues (most of them speak English) and other international volunteers, you will have the change to explore and enjoy the beautiful nature in Jordan.
Ajuda
We are looking for volunteers to help us in organizing our adventures, that take place at least three days a week (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday). Your job will consist of being an assistant guide on our canyoning adventures where you will have the opportunity to explore the most beautiful canyons of Jordan.

You will help a maximum of 5 days a week. You will spend a minimum of 1 day a week (maximum of 3 days) assistant guiding and spend the remainder in the office. Canyoning trips usually depart at 7 am and you will return around 6-8 pm depending on the trip (some trips are longer and you will return even later).

Fieldwork:
- Assisting guiding and helping customers
- Taking photos

Office tasks:
- reviewing and uploading pictures of trips on Facebook
- editing photos
- managing social media channels
- answering calls and making reservations for tours
- updating and managing website
- posting events on Facebook
- SEO writing / blog posts
If you can, please bring a laptop or tablet to assist with office tasks.

I was with these people for 2 weeks in July 2018. Although the minimum stay is one month, they had a gap in their schedule and let me stay! I had a great time helping the guides in the canyoning! I had a great time! I loved going on the canyoning trips in Jordan's beautiful Wadis (valleys) and the apartment in Amman is very nice. The canyoning guides and all of the office staff (especially Rund) are super nice. When you come, be prepared to work a lot but Jordan is wonderful and definitely worth it.

First of all, thank you guys for this amazing time.
We are still here (since one month, have another one now) but we already miss you. You welcomed us so warmly and we felt confortable from the first day at the office also at home.

We share our appartment with 2 locals and 2 volunteers. Hakam and Hazem are showing us everything in Amman. It`s… read more so nice to have someone who really cares about you. We already feel like family. The room is nice and it`s superclose to our working place.

Also the people in the office are very kind and helpful. We feel like they really want to show us their beautiful country. At first we were a little bit surprised about the work. We were supposed to work 5 days in the office. So we were talking to Ali (the owner), because we are sporty people and we were really expecting working on the field in the wadis. So it was not that clear in advance. But Ali wanted us to be happy and decided we could go on the trips.
Now we are working for 3 days on the trips, 2 days in the office and 2 days we have off time. That`s a perfect mix!

The guides on the trips where we help are funny guys. They just speak some words in english, sometimes none, but it goes on pretty fine. The most of the clients are locals, they are really nice and open minded to our culture. We often share contacts with them. It goes quite easy to make friends here.

We were very surprised about the open minded people around us. We go for frisbee every sunday evening with the people of the office and a lot of others. We have good chats, we laught a lot and we are enjoying our times.

Of course not everything is perfect, but if you come to another country you need to be open for it. It`s always different than at home, but that`s also what you want when go for a journey.
To mention some things we don`t like; people don`t care that much about the clean environment, we are very sad how they handle the rubbish. Also they smoke a lot and everywhere. And aircondition everywhere (colder than winter in switzerland) ;-). Sometimes we don`t understand the guides fast enough and we feel a little bit helpless then, but we think it`s not a problem for them at all.

Last but not least, we made the right decision to come here. The country is beautiful, we can explore it in a very nice way, people are awesome and Ali is a really nice boss. Thank you!!!

i had very good holidays. loads of lovely memories and different experience. I've spend 17 days in Ali's place, where i've felt very warmly welcomed. Ali did not "overload" with work, so it were real holidays! good company and nice environment - something to remember for a lifetime.
