  I'm a farmer in the beautiful Centovalli near Locarno in the South of Switzerland where Italian is spoken.
  My own mother tongue is Swiss German and I also speak English. With the help of my neighbours, I cultivate vegetable gardens and fruit trees. In July I am mainly busy mowing 10 hectares of land, for which many friends come to help. In the winter months I renovate the old stone houses.

  You can learn something about self-sufficiency and building. I'm originally musician and audio engineer and I still like playing. The "Accademia Dimitri"(physical theater) is located in the valley and it's always nice to visit some shows. I love rock climbing and the area offers a lot for that.
  Sometimes at my place are a lot of people around and a lot is going on, but can also happen, that we are completely alone and all you hear is the crickets chirping. That or the other way, not always predictable.

  I can offer a separate little house with a double bed. In summer times, the covered balcony is also great to sleep.

  The region is good for hikking. In 20 min you reach climbing spots or the lake "Lago Maggiore" for a swim.
