  We resettled in beautiful eastern townships in 2022. We are a family with two children (15 and 20), one very kind and hypoallergenic dog, and 10 chickens. We like to garden, farm, read, play the piano, and cook. We love the area, the people, the food, and culture. It’s a very beautiful place with forested covered hills, wineries, ski, lakes and rivers - situated 1.15 h from Montréal. We have bikes at your disposal (they are a bit rusty, you will need to tune them a little!)

  Great opportunity to enjoy time in a beautiful and serene natural setting, surrounded by forest, and with access to a swimmable lake in the summer, and ski in the winter. We can also exchange English and French lesson against Japanese lessons.

  Ajuda

  Light gardening, creating raised beds and farming, help with creating a workshop in the basement, and with building a wood shed or other light wooden structures. Other chores can include restoring/maintaining wooden windows, helping with cooking, for example. If you have experience buiding wooden structures, that would be great.

  Acomodação

  You will have a large basement room with desk and sofa to yourself. Bathroom is shared. Table tennis and fusbal table are present in basement too. If you would prefer to camp, there are beautiful spots available, including by the lake. We cook mostly vegetarian food, and will eat together in the evenings, if you would like. Breakfast and lunch are self served.
