I had almost three months (on and off - see below) with Alan and Liz, working in the extensive and beautiful garden: weeding, trimming, planting, mowing. They give good instructions and are flexible about work hours and tasks, within a prioritised list. Great

The 'on and off' aspect is because the home is sometimes rented out so everyone has to vacate for the duration (usually 3-10 days). This also means the priority is to have the lawns and gardens around the house in top condition and move further out as time and weather allow.
Highly recommended.

Petra is absolutely wonderful.. she is a real winner … friendly, participates with family, great worker without supervision. She is widely travelled and a great conversationalist.

I had the most wonderful time with Alan and Liz; so much so that I came back the second time for Christmas. They introduced me to New Zealand and provided a base for my travels. I thoroughly enjoyed working in their garden, all the lovely meals, stimulating talks and quiet evenings in the beautiful valley by their house. Words cannot express how

I stayed with Alan & Liz in there amazing house for nearly a week! Did alot of work in the garden which was enjoyable. Alan cooked some delicious meals, and was really welcomed into their family home. Both really helpful if I needed anything
