Isaac and Tijana came to us for two weeks and were a joy to have around. We had a specific task which they tackled with enthusiasm and intelligence and had they been able to stay longer I am sure that we would have found many more projects for them.

I am unsure of their plans for the future but if intending to continue with workawayer adventures but if they decide to continue and apply to you my advice is to have no hesitation in asking them to help. That is unless of course we can encourage them to come back to us!!!
Definitely one of the most beautiful workaways we have done! Liz and Jenny are two extraordinary people. We stayed with them for 2 weeks but if we could we would have definitely extended for months. Their vitality is overwhelming and there is not a day where you do not receive smiles and hugs and life lessons. Their property is a harmonious place

They shared the history of that place with us and helping them in their project was like adding a piece to that wonderful story. Their animals are wonderful and very sweet and the donkeys were adorable especially when we gave them carrots! It was nice to meet their friends and it was nice to see that such important values have not yet been lost. We shared some meals and evenings together, playing and enjoying the harmony of their welcoming home. We had the pleasure and honor of spending a few days with Liz in their creative ceramic laboratory, it was fascinating to see her at work in her art. Our accommodation was a van with a veranda equipped with everything we needed. They helped us a lot with getting around to visit tourist places in their area, they lent us their bicycles to visit a nature trail near the house where you can admire vultures in flight. We said goodbye with a see you soon and we hope to see each other again soon, maybe to give you revenge in the game of dice😁

What an absolutely inspiring experience we have had here.

We could only stay for 2 weeks due to us needing to get back to the UK (brexit) but we would LOVE to have stayed much longer. We will be back no doubt and look forward to seeing Liz, Jen and their family of wondeful animals again 😊Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

We spend three weeks in December 2022 at Elizabeth and Jenny's place and we would have loved to stay longer but we had already arranged to go back home for Christmas. Liz and Jen are caring and genuine people, they are very fair and generous hosts and they both have a great sense of humour. Besides workawayers they share their home with 4 dogs, 3
… read more cats and 2 donkeys - all of them lovely animals.
Our home during these three weeks was a caravan, separate but close to the house, with a completely equipped kitchen and new bathroom with shower. We had everything we needed at "our" place, but we also shared some lunches together with Jen and Liz, watched TV or played boardgames.
Liz and Jen prepared a list of different tasks for us, mostly DIY projects or gardening work, and we walked the dogs nearly daily and took care of the two lady donkeys (giving them fresh hay, cleaning the shed, brushing their backs which they don't really need but love ;)). Unfortunately we were not able to finish all the tasks because of heavy rains during our stay, but we never got bored because there was always plenty of work we could do inside.
We are so thankful that Elizabeth and Jenny welcomed us in their warm home full of creativity, life and laughter and it would make us very happy if one day we get the chance to visit again.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Polina and Gerrit came to stay with us for a planned three week visit before their return to Germany for Christmas. We have been living at Liz and Jen's place for 6 beautiful weeks and during this time they both did everything they could to make us feel welcome since the very first day.
We've been doing lots of different jobs both inside and outside of their house and they've always been grateful for all the things we did for them.
We were housed in their

They've also been incredibly generous with us, as they were not only providing us with the grocery allowance as well as fresh eggs and veggies from their garden, but they were also inviting us from time to time to share some delicious vegetarian meals with them and their friends while playing games, having drinks and interesting conversations. Moreover we were surrounded by the most adorable animals: they have dogs, cats, hens, a mule and while we were there they decided to adopt two lovely donkeys which we could cuddle whenever we wanted. We had such a great time and we are glad to say that we'll treasure and keep all the memories we shared with them both. And in case you might be considering to apply for your Workaway experience here, don't hesitate, we can guarantee that you won't regret it at all!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Giuseppe and Adam have just left having spend approximately six weeks with us. They lived in our caravan and catered for themselves for the most part though we shared many meals! They started out working as a team and carried out the tasks and projects with efficiency and diligence.
Later on they worked independently as we had a project of

Aside from this Giuseppe coped with interruptions to help out with many other tasks all of which were handled with care and efficiency. We also had a glimpse of his culinary talents when sharing the catering for the meals we ate together. I wish we had explored these further!!
Adam meanwhile continued to do a variety of tasks around the property but he also turned out to have a great empathy with animals - as well as birds, beetles and reptiles - and quickly became the go to person for all the many animal duties. I feel that his future should lie with this work.
Giuseppe and Adam were fun to have around and always very helpful. I think that Adam may be leaving workaway for a while but anyway if Giuseppe applies to work with you agree to this in all haste - you will be delighted and enriched by the experience!

It is hard to even know how to begin describing my experience here. I stayed with Liz and Jen for a very short time, but it was so rich with learning, generosity, and beauty that when I had to depart I was struck by the melancholy of leaving home.

In the afternoons I had lots of free time to go on walks, borrow a bike, or to read or write from numerous lovely outdoor perches.
The meals we cooked together were so fresh and delicious that they’ve influenced how I cook ever since I left! Just sitting on the porch, cooking and eating and drinking coffee together, was so sublime that I felt more peace than I have in a long time. Anyone who gets the chance to stay here should count themselves exceptionally lucky!!
To Liz and Jen, I can never fully express how much my time with you meant to me. Thank you for inviting me into your world, and for being so abundantly giving. I miss you both (and all the animals) and I hope to see you soon!!Feito pelo anfitrião para o Workawayer (Kaitlin)
