Sophie and Michael gave us the pleasure of enjoying their company for 2 months. We were able to finish a lot of different jobs: 20 m of trenches through rocks to install a new drain system, spreading cubics of concrete, fell trees, cleaning tree of masses of weed and cactuses.
Michael is a very strong character, patient and very observant. This
… read more makes him a very hard and efficient worker. Using a jack hammer, climbing scaffoldings or trees. Mixing mortar, concrete or fixing drain pipes, Michael was the guy. No job was too difficult or too big.
Sophie likes nature and is open to new experiences and challenges. By herself she cleared a vegetable pad that most people would be scared to start. Planted here little baby salads and gave a nice refreshing pruning to a lot of trees. Planted a lot of shoots...well she´s got a green touch.
Thanks for your hard work and having shared so many enjoyable moments, Jill and me really are going to miss you, as will Buddy. Keep on with your life plans, you know you there will always be an open door here with us for you.

Vivien came to help us in may. She just did a wonderfull work. During days she and Trevor did remove brandels, Hands bleeding through the gloves, but they kept smiling and working. We had a fantastic time.Jill and Patrick were ideal hosts .They took very good care of us and were very organised about our work. Jill cooked us delicious food and was very accommodating of Trevor's vegan diet. We worked from 9 til 2 , had a big lunch with our hosts and then were free to do our own thing .We went up to Mijas village to the bars
… read more and down to Fuengirola to the beach . One weekend we went to Granada. They have 4 rescue dogs so not a good place to go unless you like bouncy dogs.
