  WE ARE TAKING NEW APPLICATIONS FROM beginning of FEBRUARY 2026.
  
  NEW:
  We are also planning for 2026 to help launch an exciting small enviriomental. We are looking for help to make signs from wood and put up around the island, spread info sheets to locals , collect rubbish from the beaches etc,.Also we need help with our garden and basic home chores too, cleaning etc.painting maybe ,also some arty stuff, perhaps ,some DIY etc. diverse tasks for 5 hrs per day 5 days a week. We live in a wonderful, Greek villa with a big garden 10 mins walk from the beach. We have two adorable cats,a big garden which needs to be maintained, new plants added , maintained and watered.weeded etc. .
  Type of help depends on months you arrive, your skill set and what is needed at the time.
  
  Regular bus service to Kos town from the village centre. Superb climate.Easy access to restaurants internet cafes etc and a free swimming pool if preferred in the summer months ,(20 mins walk away) , great place to chill.
  
  I have studied Buddhist philosophy and have written my own book so love writing , sport, am flexi vegan /vegetarian, no meat eaten on site please. I am also supporting a philanthropic animal project which I started up in 2008 on Kos island too .I organise life coach retreats and workshops on Kos island . We adore table tennis so if you are a decent player, a beat the host game , definitely on !!! However ,when with well trained players ,I am absolutely not in their league, just a fun player with poor technique) We are humorous and love life !
  
  This is perfect for someone physically in good shape, no heavy lifting, who would enjoy what our immediate surroundings offer: walking, water sports , swimming ,nature and plants and who can do physical work and rise earlyish 5 mornings a week when hot.Beautiful views from the house, peaceful ,perfect for chilling with very welcoming, kind hosts who speak English and German fluently.
  
  Every cafe and pool etc in the village has free internet during the tourist season, out of season at least two do .For emergencies we can offer internet but by choice, please note,we do not have Wifi here ..

  The house is in a magnificent location with sea views and perfect to watch magical sunrises and sunsets , just a great place for the soul with all basic but very clean,SIMPLE accommodation mod cons to hand without being luxurious . This stay Not for big party types, quiet here ,especially out of season ,but most things easy to access, only a beach walk into the village where we have some shops open all year round and Kos town always has life and easily accessible by bus .However Mastichari is busy in high season and even off season ,Mastichari harbour , a fairly short walk from us still has ferries sail in and out taking you to Kalymnos island and a few others .Busy, without being overrun by tourists in high season and has managed to retain its very own ,fishing village ,charm.
  
  Superb location in a magical setting near beach 10 minutes walk to swim .20 minutes to village centre which is bustling in tourist season and from where other islands and buses can be reached and our local friends who run a travel agent ,will even come to our house to collect you for hiking trips around the island etc at very good prices .
  
  Additional possibility if serious interest expressed by workawayers is the option of profitting from my workshops as a token of our thanks at no cost : life coaching , spiritual education ,learning to see auras etc,learning some valuable mental tools for life .iAlso if, like me, you enjoy yoga by the sea, you are welcome to grab a lift and can join me with Lynn ,just a few minutes drive away, who is a great yoga teacher and friend of many years ,

  no skills essential but preference given to DIY gurus and people who can help prepare the garden ,especially in early season but hardworking enthusiastic helpers able to help with basic tasks also great help.
  
  As it is hot in high season, hrs of work could be 06.00 till about 09.00 inthe hotter months and 17.30.³ to about 19,30 but these are flexible .
  
  I would like a well-grounded, hard working, pleasant helper/s with some humour and flexibility and good ethics.

  Private separate entrance ,double room with use of bathroom shower and toilet, small fridge and tea making and simple self catering facilities to cook the ingredients etc paid for by the host . Room cool in summer and in bottom storey of house total private section with own entrance through open, spacious area ,used as a garage in winter only, in summer as a sitting area ,
  
  We have special areas in the garden for watching the sunrise,including a boat to chill out in in privacy, though a cat may join you!
  
  Suitable for a single person , ideal for a couple .Non smokers only please. Extra single bed would easily fit in the bedroom with a double bed .
  
  Workaway accommodation is a separate area so plenty of privacy
  
  
  SELF CATERING food paid for you , you go shopping with the host and get what you like and on several days a brunch will be prepared for you and often we take you out to dinner at least once to show you restaurants of Kos .Some days w e can eat together by mutual agreement .

  Bus stop Easy 30 min walk away along beach path.
  
  Many historical sites on Kos , thermal springs , excursions from the village ,short boat trip to Nisyros the volcanic island , superb restaurants, nearest 10 mins walk ,serves food for all budgets and has a lovely garden and beach.
  
  All the other dedocanese islands close by and easily reachable by boat or plane , Athens 40 min by plane.Kalymnos 15 minutes by boat , Turkey 25 minutes by boat.Cycles can be hired in village as can hire cars and bus service to different parts of the island as well as organised excursions to all interesting places with a pick up from our house if wished!.Yoga available nearby as mentioned ,
  
  Hiking by arrangement .
  
  .I am looking for helpers who are funloving, strong,well grounded ,can do physical work, not a party type as I want to keep our home peaceful and idyllic with no loud music nor smoking on site but plenty of laughter of course! We enjoy people who know how to respect other people` property and keep their area clean and tidy and someone who respects the environment and is like us I hope, uncomplicated with a sense of humour and a free spirit( or one in the making) and who will not eat meat nor smoke on site .
  We provide a very clean environment for you to enjoy, but pleaseask you to leave it as found .
  
  NB
  Due to increased travel, there is an ever increasing rise of bed bugs throughout Europe and Asia , so we can assure you,we regularly check our property ,are scrupulously clean re mattresses and linen etc and take some simple measures to prevent guests bringing them from their travels to us . If you have bites before arrival , please inform us before arrival , This is especially important if you are not flying direct from home to us but have been travelling around Greece or Turkey etc before arrival .Getting rid of these bugs can be an exhausting , expensive task and we want to ensure our premises remain bug free,
  
  TIP: Before hopping into any bed on your travels ,look for tiny, black, pin print sized marks . Do not leave cases or clothes on the floor , Learn to distinguish between a harmless mosquito bite anda bed bug!!!! Sorry but we care about you too and for first time travellers , this awareness may be very useful on your journeys !
