  ABOUT US:
  
  We are an artistic and cultural non-profit association center located in the heart of Puglia, amidst the charming countryside of Conversano. Housed in an ancient masseria, once dedicated to working the land, it now promotes art and culture through artist residencies for painters, sculptors, photographers, video artists, and performers who wish to immerse themselves in Puglia’s rich cultural heritage and contribute to its evolution.
  
  The association stands out for its sustainable approach and deep respect for Puglia’s folk and artisanal traditions. Here, art intertwines with ecology and technology, creating a fusion of past and future that enriches both the region and its visitors. Founded by Fabrizia and Jacques, our association came to life in 2019 following a careful process of restoration and preservation. This unique place has become a dynamic and creative hub where art is experienced in all its forms, fostering an ongoing exchange between artists and the local community.
  
  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
  We are looking for WorkAwayers to join us in April, and May 2025 to help us with spring cleaning at the masseria.
  During these periods, we will not be organizing any events or hosting artists due to necessary maintenance. For this reason, we are looking for WorkAwayers to join us.
  
  We need proactive and hardworking people who enjoy nature, animals, and outdoor activities.
  Housekeeping is also part of the tasks, including cleaning and tidying up—so be ready for a variety of activities ! 🌞
  
  If you can cook vegetarian or vegan meals, even better! (We do not eat fish and meat!)
  We love cooking and sharing our traditional Puglian recipes.

  IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
  📍 Location: We are in the middle of the countryside. The nearest village (Conversano) is 5 minutes by car.
  🚗 Transport: Pick-ups and drop-offs must be arranged in advance with the car owner. (Please do not forget to coordinate with us your arrival and departure.
  🛍️ We go to the village almost every day, so we can help if you need anything.
  🚙 Exploring: If you want the freedom to explore in your free time, we recommend renting a car if you plan to stay longer or go out on rest days.
  
  ❗ Allergies: If you're allergic to dogs, cats, or straw, this is NOT the right place for you, as we are surrounded by them.

  ❌ We CANNOT host families
  ❌ We CANNOT host travelers in camper vans
  ❌ We DO NOT accept WorkAwayers with pets

  WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  
  1. Maintenance & Cleaning
  🔹 Cleaning and tidying up indoor spaces (rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, common areas)
  🔹 Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen organized
  🔹 Cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas (courtyard, garden, terraces)
  🔹 Stacking and organizing firewood for the fireplace/stove
  🔹 Small repairs (painting, fixing furniture, tool maintenance)
  
  2. Gardening & Farming
  🌱 Taking care of the vegetable garden (planting, watering, harvesting fruits and vegetables)
  🌿 Maintaining ornamental plants and aromatic herbs
  🍂 Cleaning up outdoor spaces (removing leaves and dry branches)
  🌾 Building flower beds, greenhouses, or garden structures
  💪 Creating compost and managing organic waste
  
  3. Animal Care
  🐕 Feeding the dogs and cats
  
  4. Cooking & Meal Preparation
  🍽️ Cooking vegetarian or vegan meals (we do not eat fish and meat!)
  🥖 Preparing bread, preserves, jams, or traditional local products (If you would like to!)
  
  5. Construction & DIY Projects

  🛏️ We offer a large shared room with a single bed and a shared bathroom or a private room with a private bathroom (depending on availability).
  🎭 The common spaces are shared with us :)
  🛌 We provide sheets and towels, but if you bring your own, it would be a great help for us! 😃
  🧺 Laundry service is available in the village for a very affordable price.
  
  🥗 Food
  🥞 We provide 4 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, a light snack, and dinner.
  🛒 We do the grocery shopping daily, ensuring fresh, high-quality ingredients, including sourdough bread, organic vegetables from our garden or from local farmer friends, and authentic organic Puglian specialties. We also offer a selection of fresh and aged local cheeses.
  🌱 All meals are vegetarian or vegan, and cooking meat or fish is not allowed.
  👩‍🍳 Meals are prepared on a rotating basis by Fabrizia and the volunteers, creating a shared and engaging experience.
  🍽️ Lunch and dinner are eaten together, fostering a sense of community and connection.
