… read more they kindly took us to the bus station for our trips and to Dublin, giving us advices on what to visit. Sometimes we had dinner together and it was super nice (and helpful for our English) conversate with them. It was a pleasure to cook Italian specialities for them, but the best part was baking with chef Ava!
The dog Mellie is quite energetic, but she is so tender and we have loved playing, cuddle her and took her with us to walk.
Even if the cottage is spacious, it's very cozy and homey! Our room had everything we need and the bed was super comfortable.
We had a really great time with this family, and this experience will be forever in our memories!

We had the best time staying with Roisin and Cillian! They really made us feel like part of the family and were so welcoming! Most of the time we were looking after their 2-year old daughter, who is super lovely and not shy at all. We had so much fun playing with her and staying at their amazing cottage. They were always super helpful and brought
… read more us for example to the train stations and bus stops to explore the surroundings. Often, we had dinner together and had nice conversations. One bonus: the family dog Melly, who is always happy to play and cuddle.
We hade a truly wonderful time and warmly recommend staying with them :)

Really sound young couple who were absolutely part of our family from the moment they arrived. They showed great initiative with our daughter when playing with and minding her. Cooked meals, did jobs and were great fun to be with. Plenty of chats around the dinner table too.

Our experience with Cillian, Roisin, Ava and Melli was unforgettable! … read more playing games both indoors and outdoors, singing, dancing and going on walks with her. We have made fantastic memories playing with Ava, that we will cherish for a long time! Cillian and Roisin are amazing people, both were super helpful in helping us plan day trips, giving suggestions and lifts which we were forever grateful for! They are great cooks and served up some delicious meals, which we looked forward to every day. We always spent a lot of time together, having great conversations over dinner, spending evenings together and they even took us out on a few day trips too! We definitely felt like an extension to the family throughout our stay!
The house is in a great location, with both Dublin and Belfast around an hour away by car, there is plenty to do and many accessible days out. The local town of Ardee is less than 10 minutes drive away and from here is a frequent bus connection. Cillian and Roisin were extremely flexible and were always willing to take us to where we needed to go, whether it be train stations or even driving us to Dublin! This was fantastic and meant we got to explore a lot.
The house itself is lovely, very spacious and really cosy and we stayed in a lovely room with a really comfy bed and a nice en-suite.

Fue una experiencia maravillosa, Roisin es una de las personas más puras que he conocido, junto con su marido forman un gran equipo y Ava es UN angelito, se porta muy bien y es muy educada.
