  We run a homestead on a little over 10 hectares, so there will be plenty of work on the farm with no two days being the same, it makes for an interesting time all around.
  
  For 2025- 2026, we have several larger projects; from paddock maintenance to converting a wool shed into a school! Plus a load of other extra projects that have been awaiting our attention. So we’d love to have you come and help out and in return, we’ll provide a whole host of experiences.
  
  When there's nothing to do (which we can arrange - remembering you’re on holiday and we like the chilled lifestyle) then we relax with a beer and watch the world go by.
  
  Although we're not in the center of Masterton (about 5 minute drive outside), if you have transport then we're a great base to explore the Wairarapa and further afield.

  (Please note that Masterton is in the Wairarapa, which is about 2 hours north of Wellington along SH2 - your own transport would be useful, but not essential to get here and explore. We can meet and collect you from the train station, or if we’re heading into Wellington and/or Palmerston North we can pick you up).

  Come and experience the lifestyle life in New Zealand, we have cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens (and George the dog). Plenty to keep you busy and plenty to see and do in your down time. I'm sure we'll find some jobs around you can take care of.
  
  (Please note that Masterton is in the Wairarapa, which is about 2 hours north of Wellington along SH2 - your own transport would be useful, but not essential to get here and explore).

  Ajuda

  Loads of gardening tasks (we'd love to get the veggie garden up to scratch) and general maintenance around the farm to help with. We can teach you to use most farm equipment, chainsaws, log splitter, chipper, tractors, quad’s, carpentry, light construction, etc. But still plenty of time to chill also.

  Own room, with shower and toilet (can sleep 3; two sharing the king bed and one single). The house is a 1890's 4 bedroom farm cottage about 210 sqm sitting on 10 hectares about 10 minutes North of Masterton in New Zealand.

  Vans and the like are more than welcome. Several others have used some of their time with us on a spot of maintenance; we have plenty of tools and carpentry/joinery experience that we can provide if needed.
