I am a Carpenter with experience in Permaculture design, green roofs, Solar power etc. Currently needing help around my home and forest garden. This will include various carpentry projects. I do love my work and have great satisfaction teaching others my knowledge of the building trades, Things like the outdoors, hiking, biking (motor & pedal), skiing, music, relaxing, and positive energy is most important to me. I have had the pleasure of working on various Workaway projects myself. So here I am sharing knowledge, adventures and traveling.

Workawayers can learn how to plant and take care of a garden, carpentry, building with sustainable practices from green house to thermal mass heating system. possibly a green roof and solar energy. You will have lots of practice speaking English. Your workaway only include work which you want to learn or as involved as you like. I will be at home helping you as much as I can. I like to make delicious healthy food, and love to learn other cultures' dishes! If you are studying or working online, you will have time to do it. I will be happy to show you beautiful BC

I am living on Pender Island and need some help renovating garden cooking and cleaning. Evee my puppy would like to go on hikes with you. Also would like to have some egg laying chickens if you have experience with this or would like to learn about that.
I love to share knowledge, traveling stories and going on hiking adventures. Always something new and interesting to do here. The house will be having various renovations. This will be a opportunity to learn various building skills including carpentry. The forest garden will have many out door projects going on. If you have any questions and/or interested in visiting me here, send a message.
Worlawayers will only be helping around my home and forest garden. They will not be asked to help with my construction business.

I live on Pender Island which is located in the middle of Vancouver and Victoria in the gulf islands. Pender has a winter population of about 2500 and summer is about 6000. I choose to move to this island because of the best weather in Canada and community spirit. Pender has all the activities stores restaurants services one should ever need. Easy and cheap to access this island from either Vancouver or Victoria.
