We had the pleasure of having Marketa as our first Workaway guest here in Belgium. We can easily say she simply spoiled us, she set the bar really high for upcoming volunteers :).
She is a hard worker, she won't stop until a task is done no matter how many hours she is at it (we basically had to drag her out off our garden at night to have some
… read more food, she just would keep going). She sees tasks that need doing, keeps the kitchen tidy without being asked and suggests to do things before we even think of it :). We enjoyed her company and her personality. She also has a very good sense of being discreet: withdrawing herself and respecting our privacy came naturally. We don't have a big house, so having a guest for a longer period of time can be intrusive, we never felt that way with her.
With us she did mostly garden work (it was harvesting seasons) and helping with cleaning and cutting the harvest, preparing soil for a new planting, bringing in the vegetables, taking weed out off the garden, etc. She helped with some fencing in the horse fields too, walked with the dogs (which is a challenge, they are absolutely bonkers) and made sure they had fresh water all the time. She also watched our toddler from time to time and though she has little experience with children (she says), she is very gentle and sweet so our girl naturally enjoyed being and playing with her :).
In general we can say that she is a delight to have a a guest and anyway should be happy to receive a message from her :).

I spend a month with Anne, Jan, their adorable little daughter, three horses and two wild, but very friendly dogs, and really enjoyed my stay! They are very welcoming and eager to share their experience and knowledge.
In the garden I helped Jan with weeding out, picking and storing the harvest, and he taught me about gardening and ways of storing
… read more food. They are on a journey to become fully self-sustainable, so they can teach you a lot about that (or you can share your own experience). I was also helping with some light housework (vacuuming, keeping the kitchen clean) and watched over their daughter here and there.
Anne taught me about horses and we did some fencing together and cleaning horse's feet. She also taught me basic horseriding and took me on three rides when we were leading the horses to another field, which was really fun!
You get a clean cozy room, tasty organic food (Anne is an excellent cook) and lots of interesting conversations. You can also learn a lot about Flemisch and Dutch culture, which is really interesting topic! Thank you for having me :)Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Feito pelo anfitrião para o Workawayer (Ina)
We absolutely loved having Ina and Zoe as our guests. They are funny and so kind and bring with them such a nice atmosphere, but they are also very hard workers and really keen on helping you out. Don't worry about having a child as extra guest, we call Zoe "Super Zoe" because she just is a super teenager. She puts in her fair share of work, is

Here they helped with a variety of things: in house tasks such as keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, helping in the garden with harvesting, planting, preparing the soil for the next planting, etc. They helped with moving a lot of heavy stuff to the container park, helped with digging, fencing. A lot :).
So basically, if you get an email from Ina just say yes :).Comentário
