  I live in a Sydney suburb called Caringbah which is located in the Sutherland Shire. My house is about 30-40 minutes drive from Sydney Airport. I live in a 5 bedroom house. Only my husband and I live in the house that has a built in swimming pool. I live 10 minutes from Cronulla where there’s 4 beautiful beaches. You can also walk down steps near my place to reach a small bay.
  
  I work long hours looking after people with disabilities, mental health illnesses, rare diseases, and terminal illnesses. My husband retired several years ago after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He can no longer do much housework. This offer does not include caring for my husband, he doesn’t need a carer.
  
  Hence my offer to a workawayer includes free accomodation, own bedroom with built in wardrobe and a smart TV with Foxtel, Netflix, Prime movies, and wifi. The offer includes all free meals in exchange for housework, including washing, folding clothes and some cooking. There’s only my husband and I living in the house therefore the housework is not hard work. We live close to big and small shopping centres, close to public transport, about 40 minutes away from the city of Sydney. If you have a drivers license my car can be made available from time to time.

  Cultural experience involves meeting new friends through my family and friends circle and sharing and learning new things from each other, especially for those who haven’t been to Australia before. This will provide an opportunity to exchange and share knowledge on each other’s countries and culture. New cooking/food experiences can be shared. This experience will be mutually beneficial to the workawayer and host family. We live near the beach and are surrounded by 4 national parks so there’s plenty of outdoor activities, swimming, bushwalking, bike riding, and fantastic walking paths along the beachfronts.

  Ajuda

  Help required includes 25 hours per week at 5 hours per day between Monday and Friday. Weekends are your free time. Only my husband and I live in our house therefore the house is easy to keep clean. This includes making beds, vacuuming & mopping floors, cleaning 2 bathroom’s, keep kitchen, and internal laundry and fridge and stove clean, clean glass windows, dusting, and cleaning surfaces such as bench tops, and furniture. These tasks would be spread out over the 5 day period. Some cooking will be involved and will be negotiated on the workawayers cooking skills. Meals are only for the workawayer, my husband and myself.
