  My husband built an amazing house in a beautiful country, and we'd like to share it with you. We have veggie gardens, fruit trees, fantastic views and a plunge pool. Our days are full of sunshine, swimming at the beach across the street and gardening. Saint Lucians are wonderful people and our village is only a short walk away. The local bus will take you where ever you need to go. A commercial kitchen means you can easily process all the delicious produce you grow. A bread oven is available for baking your own whole grain sourdough.

  We love our homesteading lifestyle. It's wonderful to eat food that you've grown and cared for. We are happy to share our knowledge of tropical plants. The local creole culture is vibrant and inviting.

  We'll be in the US and need someone living in the Saint Lucia house and taking care of it and the gardens. There is a cat that needs attention daily. Ideally we would like to have a couple here. The property is very private, but not remote. It's easy to take the bus for errands. The work may not be easy. There are steep terrains, tropical weather, insects. We will require a commitment for the entire duration of the Housesit. The house and property will need to be maintained. We will be gone, so you will have to feed yourselves and keep the house clean.
  If you are not a Lucian, you will need to review the current visa requirements for your country. From the US, after 6-weeks you are required to purchase an extension.

  The house is BIG. The second floor is a master suite with full bath, deck and balcony. The east wing has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, a commercial kitchen has a bread oven and half-bath. Outdoor shower, pool and porch. There are even kennels and out buildings.

  This is a fabulous place to get back to nature. The house is open-no glass windows, and the weather is lovely. The public bus will take you anywhere you need to go. This housesit is best for couples or families.

  The internet here is fantastic. If you would like a connection you will need to pay this utility. Our sitters have easily maintained an online work life. It's a huge house with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms . Lots of covered outdoor space. This property is a palette where you can paint your dreams come true! We require a 6-month commitment May-Nov.

  Orange loves a lap and light touch. She is happy with dry food and catching lizards. She will catch anything that moves. She’s happy to curl up with you at night.
