  We are a couple living in La Gomera for many years. Our property is in a small mountain village of La Laja. We try to live a life with less consume and more time for important things. We like to do the most by our selves as well as to produce some fruits and vegetables. The quality of our craft is very important to us.
  
  To finish some nice jobs in our property and make the house and garden even nicer, we are looking for a person, who
  1) is willing to do some "workout" on our mountain: Building stone walls, doing some concrete, plaster or wood-jobs
  OR
  2) can help with cooking, gardening, walking the dogs, feeding the animals
  
  Some more information:
  La Laja is 11 kilometers from San Sebastian away, has about 50 inhabitants and is green all year round thanks to its proximity to the Garajonay National Park. From here hiking trails lead to the most beautiful parts of La Gomera. Our family members are two cats, seven chickens, two dogs and we both:
  
  Zdenka was born in Prague, studied Botany and German in Hamburg and then did various communication jobs until she changed her life. Since then, she has dedicated herself to organic farming, horticulture and horticultural therapy. In September 2018 she went by bike from Hamburg to La Gomera to stay here. Actually, she is running a small business about Activities for Tourist, Life Experience
  
  Kay is a constructor of boats, he started to sail the world with his self-made catamaran in 1997, but fell in love with the Canary Islands and stayed. For 18 years now he has been restoring old stone houses in La Laja.

  Acomodação

  Our mountain is about 2 hectares. You can either camp and use the shared infrastructure, or you sleep in a separate tiny house. We cook together in the evening, mainly the products of our fields. You are very welcome to explore the island on your own, we can arrange flexible working days.

  We like to have two weeks stay as a trial period.
  
  You have to know, that the transport is limited in our village. There is a public bus to La Laja from San Sebastian twice a day. From San Sebastian you can take a bus to many of La Gomeras towns and places. And the summer might be quite hot around here, so you should not be afraid of sweating ;o)
  
  From La Laja you have many hiking paths to the National park. We can help you find your way to the beautiful nature in La Gomera.
