  Hello, We are Ami & Samy.
  
  Our project was born out of our mutual dream to live close to nature, completely off-grid, with a self-sustained but comfortable regenerative lifestyle. We found our dream land in Alentejo, between the picturesque hills of Cercal do Alentejo and the stunning beaches of Porto Covo. We started out from scratch, as there was nothing on the land, and planted thousands of trees and plants to regenerate the soil. We built some amazing structures like the Zome temple for gatherings, concerts, retreats and other events, as well as a specious Kitchen area and hangout space, a stage for bigger events and festivals, a few comfortable toilets and showers, and many wooden platforms for our glamping tents to host our guests. We use solar power as our energy source and we get water straight from the land. We installed smart filter systems ( for both gray and black water) in order to filter the water and recycle it all back to the land via the irrigation system.
  
  We are currently looking for two major positions :
  1. A qualified person who can help us with our bookings outreach to experienced retreat leaders around the world and particularly in Portugal. The idea is to curate our offerings in a way that will suit our project´s needs (more details bellow). Please do not approach us regarding this position unless you already had experience doing this kind of outreach work (details below). This particular outreach is a full time job and is designed for those who are familiar with the holistic world.
  2. A retreat manager - Only for those who can stay with us a full season (Starting April till mid November)! We´re looking for an experienced person who already led teams in the past (not necessarily in retreat centers) and can easily create tasks, schedules, and manage a team of workers (up to 10 people) on daily basis. For this position, we give priority to those who, apart from being great at hosting, are also able to do maintenance work on the land, meaning handy with woodwork, tools, and are able to fix issues related to the land and the structures on it (a broken fence, a door that needs fixing and other handyman kind of works). Mind you this is not a must, but it is a great advantage if you can.
  This position is only fitting to those who are exceptionally good with working with other people, and are able to lead and inspire our team.
  
  Both positions are paid more than the minimum wage. Position 1 also include an incentive on confirmed bookings.

  We often host events and concerts which include art and music from many worldwide cultures. The surf around includes some of the best waves Portugal has to offer. We have people from many parts of the world staying with us and helping on the land.

  1. If you are experienced in outreach via calls, mails and messages, and already worked in the holistic industry (retreat centers, wellness centers etc), we would be happy to hear from you. If you dont have any experience with any of it, please don't contact us regarding this position.
  We would love to hear from good vibe and experienced people who can help us curate our retreat offerings by attracting the right kind of retreat leaders with strong followers, retreat leaders who are long enough in the field and are able to fill up their retreats with up to 20 people easily (our max capacity as a boutique retreat center).
  This position is exclusively focused on our booking and outreach, via newsletters, personal targeted outreach via emails or phone calls, and/or any other creative ideas you might have to succeed in attracting the right kind of retreats. It is a full time job and definitely requires a full scope knowledge with the holistic world.
  This role could be done while staying with us and working on the land as part of our crew, or working remote with occasional visits and stays on the land with our crew.
  This position is a paid position inline with minimum wage - with an option for incentives depending on success rates.
  
  2. If you have experience in leading teams (up to 10 people), creating their daily task and managing them, inspiring them, making sure they are happy, and keeping a running flow of a project, we would love to hear from you. This role will require you to host the retreat leaders and their participants in a comfortable, natural and easy going kind of way.
  It would be a big plus if you can also deal with fixing things and daily maintenance of a land (no worries about living off grid experience and all that comes with that, we can teach you that part).
  Your work will be to make sure that our crew is happy, dedicated, and doing their daily tasks with clarity and ease. Your end goal would be to make sure that the retreat leaders who stay with us ,along with their participants, will feel as comfortable as possible during their stay with us, and their daily retreat needs will be met.
  FYI no need t worry about the content of the retreats, we dont create them. The retreats we host are lead by leaders outside of this place , as we basically rent the place to them and take care of their food and accommodations.
  This position includes food and accommodations with a good wage on top (much more then the minimum wage).
  Please note that its only for those who can stay with us a full season (April - mid November). All year long is also possible...or even longer.
  
  
  
  If you chose to stay with us you will be living in a beautiful countryside environment surrounded by nature and animals, just 15 min drive from stunning beaches, 20min walk from the lake, and if you surf, you will find some of the best breaks in Portugal very close by. We also frequently let our team join some of the activities that we host on the land. It could be taking part in some of the activities offered in the retreats or take part in some of the events we host (concerts, one day workshops of all sorts and others). However, this part is very much subjected to the leaders of the retreats, their willingness and invitation.

  Acomodação

  Our accommodations include a super cozy 4m diameter glamping tents in which we host our guests and staff. There is a big shared kitchen space where we cook for ourselves and our guests. At the end of the day you will be able to enjoy the occasional after hours jams and/or late night conversations (when the mood is there). There is also a comfortable bathroom (not compost) and indoor and outdoor hot showers for your use. All and all our place is pretty unique in many ways, we care a lot for our team and our communication channels are always open.

  Our project is located in a very special area, a very authentic one, still pure and hardly touched by tourists, and yet surrounded by some of Portugal´s most beautiful beaches and landscapes. The land lays between protected natural reserves and the never-ending Alentejo hilly views on one hand, and a stunning strip of beaches on the other. It offers the best of the countryside tranquil lifestyle mixed with a wide-spread local community attractions which may include weekends markets, gatherings of all sorts, Jam circles with some amazing international musicians, and much more. Once in a while we host gathering in our Zome temple, so if you happen to be around at the time you might catch some sweet memorable moments.
  Although it's best to arrive here with a car, there is an easy and direct public transport that arrives to our area, once you are around we can easily pick you up and bring you to the land.
