It feels so strange to be writing a review for this family and my experience, but I want to so others can follow, get a better understanding of someone's experience with them and to support the Laubie family. I came here for a gap semester period for almost three months. My goal with workaway was to live somewhere beautiful in France for this
… read more period, be able to learn some French/be exposed to some French culture, and to make a connection with the family I worked with, and I was absolutely able to achieve all of those things. Emmanuel, Sandrine, Victor, Salomé, and Corentin are such incredible and amazing people/kids. I feel so lucky for the experience I had and being able to feel connected to each member of this family in different ways. Emmanuel and Sandrine were incredibly welcoming and kind to me, and I never felt any struggle to ask them about something or help with an issue I was having. I stayed with the Laubie familly for almost two weeks. They were very welcoming and I enjoyed getting to know them. I mostly helped the kids with English practice. Victor, Salomé and Corentin are smart, cute kids. Annecy is beautiful and I did a lot of bike riding in my free time. The family introduced me to a lot of the local cuisine and they're
